Your closer to the truth than you think. iTunes for Windows is very much a legacy app.

The original iTunes for Windows was first released in 2003 so Windows 2000 & XP users could buy music and sync the original iPods (yes kids, before iPhones were a 'thing').

Whilst its had updates over its life, its effectively a digital dinosaur at this point and Apple has been actively phasing it out over the last few year through neglect essentially.

Apple has effectly replace it via three apps on the Microsoft Store - Apple Music, Apple TV & Apple Devices (for backup/sync/update). If you install these new apps on Windows 10 or 11, iTunes will actually disable itself and only allow you to access audiobooks and podcasts.

+ Turgame also. What I like is the conversion rate is the same whatever the value of gift cards you are buying.

Turgame passes payment processing fees onto the buyer - Depending on the processor you select, these fees can vary, but they are never very much.

I just cant remember what payment processor I used. I do remember using "Iyzico" but they increased the fees quite steeply. May need to check them all. Also try to pay in TL and not EUR.

If I want to add someone to my Turkish family, do I send them an invite and have them accept using a vpn or do they need a brand new gmail address? I haven’t added someone in years

Send as normal, no VPN. I've added people back to Turkey family who have been with me previously in other countries and no issues. Very quick and easy.
