Did you enlarge your font size? A lot of apps don't cope well with that, even though they should.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra
I'm raptured by the joy of it all

many thanks … yes changing the Accessibility Option in settings to Large Font to OFF has brought it back.

Will have to revert to ON again as I blind as a bat on WhatsApp / messages etc …. So FR will have to take a back seat as a result. Too bad as I was a daily user…. Might try and tweek the Large Font scroller bar in settings to see if I can get a compromise!!! Thanks for the help

Ryanair Dub to Man, FR1918, just after aborting a landing at the airport. Currently on a northerly heading at 3,850 feet.

Edit: landed now. Serious delay originally. Scheduled for 8.55, didn’t leave till 10.31.

That's the Garda surveillance plane, operated by the Air Corp.

A trio of Air Corp planes were doing a bunch of loops near me.

This Lad just flew past my house.

Clonee D15. And it's heading back to Shannon the way he came up.

Yeah, did a single swing round Ongar/Clonsilla then back to Shannon. Perhaps assessing the viability of an upgraded replacement for Manna Drone Delivery 😁.

I think that is an annual visitor. Usually stays about a week and then to Shannon for fuel en route back to the US.

Was meant to post this yesterday, heard a plane flying overhead in South Dublin around 18:40 yesterday and turns out it was this Air Canada A330 diverting to Dublin. Not sure of the reason, but it's scheduled to work DUB-YYZ at 3pm today.

Almost certainly a medical diversion. There are on average a couple a week, I'd say.

What's going on at ORK tonight? FR from FUE came in from the South and said 'nah, let's try that from the other side' before getting down on the second go, and pretty much simultaneously EI from LHR also lined up from both South then North but went around in that second attempt as well (over my house in the harbour, hence my checking Flightradar) and is now off to SNN. METAR looks clear and weather outside the door seems fine with hardly a puff of wind (I'm only a few km away).

Perhaps difficulties with "hot and high" operations. 🤣
