    This is going to end 1-1 isn't it? Still Morocco living up to the billing regardless of the result. Very impressive. Brazil, who I will always like purely based on childhood and associating them totally with the World Cup, not that convincing unfortunately. Still the World Cup started here for me. Enjoyable game.

    FT. Good game, even with the slower 2nd half. Morocco could have been out of sight while on top, but a well earned point for each

    That second save by Alisson was brilliant, did very well to get up so quickly.

    Morocco could have won that but I guess it doesn't matter too much with three going through.

    Bouaddi 18. French born plays with Lille. Played with France all the way through the youth system right up to U21 and then declares for Morocco. French will be sickened. Looks a top class central midfielder for years to come.

    Back at home after a couple weeks away with the Army, sitting down for my first game. I can only find it in Spanish. Bloody annoying USian subscription system puts the English language broadcast behind a paywall for services I don’t subscribe to.

    Did RTE spend the entire budget on the rights? Maybe they'll up it for the knockout stages.

    Scotland 1 - 0. Good support for the Scots. Great atmosphere like the Brazil Morocco match. These American stadiums are top class.

    I'm on the verge of a site ban. Please don't rage bait me, I'm easily triggered especially late at night!

    I'm relieved Ireland didn't qualify for this tournament. A new breed of supporter has surfaced that makes my skin crawl- theatrical praying on trains, sanctimonious nods to clergy, strangers playing Good Samaritan by fixing punctures for attention, and a nonstop fog of drunkenness. It's performative, needy, and utterly exhausting: less genuine fandom and more a public plea for validation and applause. They're desperate to be patted on the head and be told they're a good little paddy and the best fans in the world. 😉

    Doak looks like he could be Scotland's version of Damien Duff (2002) at this tournament. The rest of the team look like robots.
