and again, theres plenty of data to show, no, a significant proportion of Americans are not wealthy, in fact, many struggle to meet most of their most critical of needs on a regular basis, this is widely accepted, so yes, you are now gaslighting!

my comments are supported by the work of economists such a joe stiglitz and tomas piketty, which shows that the wealth of American is in fact highly concentrated, therefore poorly distributed, this in turn skews typical analysis of wealth, making it seem like most Americans are wealthy, when in fact they are not, they are also highly indebted, commonly due to the accumulation of educational, health care and housing debts!

    What data? Please share it.

A lot of Americans claim to live paycheque to paycheque - including people earning over 300k$. Those self reported surveys are worthless. People think they live paycheque to paycheque because they spend obscene amounts of money. There is plenty of economic data showing this - they have huge discretionary spending and high incomes - that is a simple fact. I have quoted median figures to you already that you are just ignoring.

American wealth is highly concentrated, yes. The richest portion of the US is unimaginably wealthy and wealth inequality is bad. However, again, every quintile except the bottom is better off than the equivalent in Europe and I have not mentioned mean figures at any point for a reason.

The bottom quintile of the US is worse off and their poverty is incredibly public. But it is a minority of people. They are a richer country than us - I would not trade for it personally, but it is just head in the sand stuff to pretend they are poor.

Probably been mentioned already, but just another fine example of how this man is an absolute fraud in pretty much every conceivable way. Had a good laugh at this.

I hope they bill the work for removal of his name from the Kennedy centre to him, the ****.

They are a couple without kids both earning 6 figure salaries, so I guess they can afford it and feel its worth it to them. Plenty more like them. Where we live, pretty much everywhere you go there are people dropping ridiculous amounts of cash on a daily basis. Just back from vacation and its the same thing. Its not all on credit but I'm sure a lot is. It certainly seems like the economy is doing pretty well for a good chunk of the population anyway.

He is now openly threatening to nuke Iran if they don't sign the deal tomorrow. I expect no condemnation from europe or the uk.

He actually wants this as a birthday present. What a despicable neo-nero pretend human

What good would that do? He clearly doesn't care about being thought of as worse than Hitler.

    Ye of little faith

The company announced in June 2025 that the phone would be US-made. While the assertion of a US-built phone quickly disappeared after the announcement, Trump Mobile's website later announced that the phone was
"designed with American values in mind" and "shaped by American innovation."

    https://edition.cnn.com/2026/06/12/politics/white-house-freedom-250-ufc-fight-lawsuit

“Temporary structures are ubiquitous on the White House
grounds, erected for nearly every special event, yet nobody has ever
before suggested that Congress somehow needs to pass legislation for
every concert tent or Easter egg roll kiosk,” DOJ argued.
The administration said workers were expected to begin disassembling the “claw” starting Monday."

Basically the Judge bottled it as up to $60m would be lost if the farce is pulled, the plaintiffs should have moved earlier.

I have friends and relatives in the US, educated, decent jobs & salaries, but many of them often say how they live pay check to pay check ( 40's & 50's married with kids bracket). And yet they eat out at least 3 nights a week and also lunches, dropping at least $250 for dinners and $150 for a family lunch, including tips. That can add up to $1,000 a week on eating out or delivered food. Think about it, 4k a month or 50k a year on eating out/take aways. And I do belueve this is pretty normal for American families who claim they struggle with rising costs or say they live pay check to pay check.

I'd be curious to see if Trump would have adhered to the court ruling if they said it couldn't go ahead.

Iran directly rejects Trump's new claim of a deal being signed tomorrow, saying the insistence on signing the deal on specifically Sunday is engineered around his own birthday, calling it a "propaganda event" that Trump is trying to turn into a unilateral "symbolic occasion" for himself, along with his UFC White House event, per Fars.

So, the turnips special dates dictate when the war will be over, people will not be bombed & oil can flow again?

What a self conceited despicable individual this bastard is. I’ve never wished someone dead, but this moron is testing my limit.

It's the US politics equivalent of a family moving into your exclusive estate and immediately putting a car wreck up on cement blocks, sitting outside in vests on deck chairs scratching their belly buttons while rubbish burns in a nearby empty barrel.

Iran will humiliate trump the way they did carter letting hostages go just after Regan took office

And everytime he says they will sign tomorrow or they are desperate they will stall Iran holds all the cards trump has the jokers.

All that credit card debt, and fyi cumulative home mortgage debt is 13tn and auto loan debt 1.7tn indicates they're really not that wealthy despite high incomes. They may spend a lot, but it's fueled by debt

Reagan might've had a deal with Iran prior to election. Unproven though tonnes of rumours.

As a UFC fan it's pretty iconic having this event at the Whitehouse.

Have to say they're doing a pretty good job hosting the matches in the US so far too. Scotland fans today is making me very jealous we didn't qualify. The quality of the stadiums over there is another level to Europe.

I'm on the verge of a site ban. Please don't rage bait me, I'm easily triggered especially late at night!
