Car parks close at 10pm, box office car park at 10.30pm anyway, it's in an email from organisers.

Directions question, I am travelling from west, plan to turn off at Curragh and come via Glendalough, last year I turned off at Laragh and got to gate 2 for general camping via a backroad, was thinking of turning at Annamoe this year, just wondering has anyone got to gate 2 this way before as its the camper van route

Beaut of an evening, now very still and the midges coming out. Ground is solid, cou9le of squidgy bits at edges of the road from campervan area.

Arena is bang on. Looking great. The camping area security is futher back this year. Campervan end is the other. One wristband to rule them all, no separate areas.

So no campervan wristbands @RangerToby ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 192 ✭✭RangerToby

Nope, just weekend band picked up at the arena check tent. They will scan you in on your camper ticket when arriving with the van.

Bit of an issue with the early bought tickets when it was sold via ticketbooth, but they have dealt with this for everyone quickly.

Nope, this is a small festival. Make friends with neighbours or use the lower field :) or both :😀 It's blustery today but much calmer over weekend

apologies if it’s been asked before (boards search isn’t the best) anyone know how difficult it will be to get a taxi tonight at 2/3am?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,038 ✭✭✭Fanirish

close to impossible. Only chance is a pre arranged taxi from a driver in Wicklow town or bray. Even then that might be tall order

Have a blast everyone! Looking forward to reading the reports, and hopefully everyone gets paid this time!

How we now?! Is the ground from car park to campsite okay enough for a handtruck with small enough wheels?

You'll be grand. Been a warm breeze and on and off blazing sun since dawn

Quick update as I can't edit the clashfinder from the mobile...

Run the Red and MayKay are playing, they are now showing on the listing. Must have been missed by the btp editor.

anyone any idea where you can drop off a musician who’s playing at it. What entrance would be best?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,443 ✭✭✭rino87

    Whats the crowd numbers like?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 464 ✭✭Paddy2012

Pretty busy, I don't think they were bluffing when they said 90% of the tickets were gone

Good buzz down here and layout is decent but the music options weren't great yesterday imho. Moodyman being moved to Sunday threw things off and there wasn't much else of quality that compensated for it. Today and tomorrow are shaping up to be better. The cupra/forest stage is a decent addition.

Food tips: samosa chaat in Kerala kitchen. Same price as a curry chip...€10.

Those suntori 196 vodka/fruit spritzer cans ain't bad either!

Enjoy your day and recommend some food trucks worth a punt.

Bigger crowd than last year for sure. But uncomfortably so. Sama and moodyman not playing yesterday was a pity. Thought Ela Minus was good, caribou great and Groove Armada DJ set was outstanding.

Not a fan of the change to Cirrus, more a space now than a garden. Minor enough grumble.

Excellent day yesterday, vibes and all round good heads as you'd expect

Rumour has it a sign fell down and they have machinery in fixing it. No access to the arena for the last while. Patiently waiting to get in
