    Hi all,

Any advice on the best places to buy radiators in store or online?

I need to replace some older existing standard cast iron two panel types.

Just wondering where anyone has shopped recently and can give some advice!

    Thanks

    N

Go to a plumbing merchants. Warmhaus, firefly brand etc.

Will you be doing the upgrade yourself or getting a tradesman to do the job? If a tradesman, ask what rads he would recommend, and ask the sizes of them.

Then go to a heating equipment supplier/plumbers' merchants and find the type of rad you want. Get those prices and then check on line for prices, remembering shipping costs if applicable.

If it is just standard steel rads you want, there aren't many manufacturers but the various companies you are looking at will probably have the same items under different model names.

Once you have selected the rads you want, go back to the tradesman (if using one) and ask what price he will charge for the rads. He may get a trade discount that is not available to you.

Screwfix do them and are very reasonable. And have a good selection of sizes..Free courier cost too. Or can collect them.
