I think Mountfield are rebranded Stihl or Stiga robot mowers which seem to get mixed reviews.

Seems on paper to me not a good deal at all. I'd personally choose the segway or Luba at those price points there's far more capabilities in either brands model lineup.

It wouldn't be a buy I would make.

    You're right.

A bit more digging and came across Dreame A1 Pro, a few places selling for €1099. From what I can see online, robot vaccum cleaners was their main products but they have recently moved into the robot mowers.

    The search continues......

We've a dreame x50 ultra in the house as a vacuum. Would I recommend that to anyone. I'd be on the fence. It has many quirks in the software if I'm honest and I think it's cleaning power is somewhat questionable.

I think the app itself is incredibly flawed. It's very like they just ported over the chinese app version and the user interface is not user friendly. I'd probably not buy one again simply for ease of use and cleaning is average.

Hi listermint - was the PCB issue with the Luba?

No it's my 9 year old Husqvarna built, Robo 1000. Under their brand mccullogh.

The Luba has no issues. It is however new to me only over a month old.

I would based on so far but it again. I haven't found any negatives but me scheduling things to my liking.

Good to hear, at the minute it's down to the Segway Navimow i215E or the Luba Mini AWD1500, the latter being 300 euro more expensive. From what I have read here, the Segway has better customer support, is that the case?

With the Luba, postioning of the RTK could be an issue, assuming the best place would be the chimney to get best coverage from front to back garden.

No issues with support myself as I haven't needed it ( too early ) ☺️ my one issue was delivery time of around 2 to 3 weeks from purchase.

In relation to RTK it's not a necessity it works without one it's not required the unit operates entirely without one.

However you can increase connection efficiency with it or else like I have wifi to the garden area. This allows you a stronger remote connection for things like detailed lawn mapping or better camera visuals.

But as above its not a prerequisite it works anyway with 4G sim and GPS.

I think the segway unit sounds great and would have bought it. But the only thing that stopped me was the extra lawn capacity coverage of the Luba. I thought it would be useful to me to cut and additional extra lawn cross a driveway which I do with a petrol push mower irregularly. It's mainly meadow. So I said I'd pay the extra 300 for that potential.

Other than that is have the segway now at lower price point.

Any Segway Navimow i215e owners here that can offer pros/cons on it? Thanks.

Do you have the new Luba 3 AWD? If so can you please update when able as to your thoughts, love one but a significant layout and some reviews suggest downtime having to box and return.

Interesting that you think Navimow may be as good! Does not look as good, but Irish dealers, so I assume a bit easier to get service if needed.

I bought the 'Luba Mini awd lidar' specifically.

I was putting it against the navimow i210e.

The only decision that pushed me over the Luba side was the additional extra coverage 1500 from 1000. Not that I needed it but allowed me a choice with another lawn. And the AWD to avoid issues crossing driveway.

Other than that I had no issues getting the 210e. I've read nothing but good things about it.

I've a 2,750 m2 lawn to cover and it's on a slope. Talking to a salesman the other day and he recommended a Luba 3 AWD 5000 as opposed to the 3000 m2 version. I suspect, that like a cars manufacturers claimed fuel efficiency, the 3,000m2 coverage claim for the smaller unit is for ideal conditions. What is the general consensus with sizing robot mowers, how tight to the claimed coverage would you go?

As an aside, anything else you think I should consider instead of the Luba 3?

All my research is contrary to that from user reviews, YouTube blogs etc. the devices do more than expected not less . And it's your task and scheduling that handles how well it performs.

Personally I'd ignore the sales guy and go with the 3000 that's more than enough . And you can add multiple tasks in schedule to extend that area of you wish to. But you don't need to as youre substantially less.

The 5000 just means the software can handle a cut in one big task.

Luba 3000 is fine. Not sure if there is much of a cost difference.

I wud look at segway x430, not sure of price also

It's over 4 weeks since I sent the Yuka mini to mammotion and still no ETA for when it should be returned. Before I sent it, support told me the whole process should take 7-15 working days.

They emailed me this week offering me a refurb one

"The replacement unit will be of equal or higher specification than your original device. It will undergo a professional refurbishment and rigorous testing process, and the replacement unit will continue under the remaining warranty period of your original device."

Not sure what to do with the offer. Anyone go down this road before?

If they had told me it would take this long for the repair I wouldn't have sent it til after the summer.
