Yes and loads of buses going from here. Hopefully it’ll take the sting out off the traffic.

Sold out now on Ticketmaster. Clubs might still have a few.

I'm on the verge of a site ban. Please don't rage bait me, I'm easily triggered especially late at night!

How yisser all going to come? Trains from Athlone booked out? You could drive to Athenry or even Oranmore, park at station, and get train in from there. It only leaves you in Eyre sq. though and it's a good walk out to Salthill. Make sure to leave allowances for extra-time and penalties on the return journey. There are public buses but no bus lanes so they're not much good. If driving, leave very early. Sunday is forecast to be fine and Salthill will be manic; remember 2006 and the gridlock back then?

I see hurling league finals on this week. I’m going Raharney, plunketts and llg to win out in respective finals. No word on football finals yet due to the great run the seniors are on at the minute.

That's a great crowd - will be some atmosphere at it. Both teams to change jerseys I presume? Galway's change strip is white - what is Westmeath's?

Any word on why the Westmeath podcast appears to be gone independent from Westmeath gaa official?
Iarmhi Abu podcast on YouTube for anyone looking.

Three badly conceded goals. First one was a lack of concentration, second was leaving heslin exposed and done for pace and the third was naive when they had possession and left the scored attempt short allowing Galway drive up the field.
With conroy and Maher in midfield and Darcy having a great game they won most of the midfield battles. The team never gave up which is great to see but injuries and possibly heavy legs just caught the players out in the end.
