Oh well, potential choke was fun while it lasted. I suppose even Zverev couldn't throw that away

Zverev has finally won a slam. It is a sad day 😔

Cobolli is going to be sick, should've won that after getting it back to 2-2, complete collapse by him in the 5th.

Really didn;t want Zverev to win it, not really a player that is likeable at all imo .

Well I called it pretty well with Zverev and Cobolli making the final but a real pity that Cobolli could not get the win.

The next few years of tennis should be exciting with Sinner and Alcaraz clearly at the top, Zverev a clear 3rd, then the rising talents who have not peaked yet like Shelton, Draper, Fils, Mensik, Musetti and Cobolli who should form the backbone of the Top 10 for the rest of the decade (Fonseca, Jodar and Tien too), the remainder of Djokovic's career, and the 90's players like Medvedev, Ruud, Rublev, de Minaur, Fritz, and Berrettini trying to stay with the younger gen.

Also crazy to look at the rankings and see Auger-Aliassime in 4th. However only 840 points separate 4th from 10th which goes to show how close it is in that next crop of players behind Sinner, Alcaraz and Sinner.
