By contrast, I'm snacking on salty crackers spread with non-brand Nutella.

I've gone into a whole Focaccia rabbit whole lately. Not sure how to bake the perfect one. Or if such a thing even exists :)

I've been making them for years so I am really good at it, if I do say so myself. BUT I am trying to make the crust a little thinner before they get to the bread - without compromising the center and letting it get doughy.

And on the toppings I am trying to add a little MORE chilli in the after taste without front loading it. I'm trying to get the "moreish" effect more from the chilli than the salt/rosemary. But without the chilli getting to annoying burn levels.

Also I make it plain and I make it stuffed (usually sundried toms and/or black olive slivers) which changes everything :)

Looks amazing, I really want to try the M&S one.

I've baked these oat cookies lots of times, but I forgot to add the golden syrup this time. What an improvement. They have the crispy texture like Hobnobs instead of slightly chewy.

    What recipe did you use?

    From a Lisa Faulkner book.

Excellent, thanks! Very straight forward and with more reasonable weight of ingredients than Mary Berry's recipe that I made the other day (I did think that only 75g of flour for 150g of butter wouldn't be enough and yes, they were a disaster). I'll make them later.

I skip her method by melting the butter then throwing everything in the mixer. I also make them larger.
