Checking RIP and seeing nicknames in brackets after the deceased’s official name. Some are hilarious.

The fact the “pride match” FIFA earmarked for Seattle as part of the WC ended up being Iran-Egypt.

Going to be wall to wall rainbow laces for that one lads.

I urgently need to buy a new backpack. Old one that served me well on trips last about 20 years has the lining coming apart inside. The one I had my eye on is reduced to €40. And when I hit the ‘stock check’ button on the website they have stock in the nearest shop of theirs which is only 3 kilometres away and they have it in my preferred colour too.

walked into JD sports to urgently update my fitness wear… really liked some Adidas tracksuit bottoms, got the very last two pairs left in my size at the very back of the last rail I looked at..

down to Elverys, same brand but a different style I liked, coincidentally just two pairs of those left in ‘L’ too.
Nice bit of luck x2 and a really productive days shopping.

Got my earbuds working fine again. They had an audio feedback loop in the right earbud, were out of warranty, and a repair was beyond what I could afford, but it turns out that I just needed to turn off noise cancellation to get rid of that bloody feedback noise!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

After what feels like a decade, we are down to just one house in the estate being reno'ed (th)! 1!!!!!!! the road looks so bare now thats its not blocked with trade vans parked both sides all day.

Hopefully this means less noise and the mices might go home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont get me wrong, I'm happy for the 5 "new" houses better suiting the families living in them, but man it was noisy and dirty!!!!!!!!!

I frequently see youngsters( c10-15yo) in my local Tesco's, I love to hear them comparing prices and figuring out how to make what ever money they have stretch for their wants(I assume wants, as nothing about them trip my distress spidies) They are quite rightly shameless in doing this as they should be, this convo yes really made me smile.

Two boys c12 we in the biscuit aisle and having a spirited discussion about which biscuits can afford and get their desired ice-cream as well, one guy said "I forgot I have a bag x gave me so we dont have to pay for this, it even has working snappers at the top" This seemed such a mature conversation for such a young person, but I loved to hear this from young boys particularly.

There's a cat round the way that always jumps up to greet you. Think they must be evolving, they're usually quite scared of people.

Got my haircut yesterday…despite it being Saturday afternoon the barber wasn’t busy, a 5 minute wait, a relaxed and unhurried really good cut that I’m very happy with. New employee too, great cut and chat to a minimum…perfect.
