@hynesie08 do not post in this thread again.

Lying isn't likely what anyone was doing, but you already know that. A misinterpretation of a paragraph from an article in the Guardian is all that happened (pre parade estimation v actual post parade estimation), but you already know that too.

You have absolutely no reason whatsoever to be in this thread other than to troll us Arsenal fans. It's pathetic tbh. Absolutely pathetic.

I can’t wait to see them all fail with their new managers next season. The pettiness & jealousy is pathetic. Champions & they can’t take that from us. Excited for next season!

Apparently there were 1.5 million people at the parade yesterday! That’s phenomenal if true!

Imagine being a grown adult and you choose to spend your bank holiday posting scutter online about a parade.

    Cringe

Morgan Rogers and Eli Junior Kroupi are among the players on Arsenal's transfer shortlist this summer reports Sami Mokbel, senior football correspondent ↗️

Would this be a good bit of business, Arsenal fans?

Andrew Allen wrote a piece about the parade for Arseblog. I can’t recommend it enough!

Seems Saliba will need back surgery after the world cup.

    I think Arsenal need a top 9 & 10.

Time to let Nwareni (especially) play and also try to get a good few games out of Dowman.

Odegaard isn't doing near enough for me and I don't think Gyokeres is the answer either.

Arsenal struggle to score when in possession; most of the threat comes from turning over the ball with their press and set pieces.

They need to evolve and I don't think that happen with current offensive players and tactical emphasis.

Arteta has the monkey of his back now he needs to take few risks. The squad has been incredibly constrained since January.

If he gets it right Arsenal can dominate as the back bone of team from goalie, defence and Declan/Zubi is top drawer.

But Mikel needs to let go a little and trust talented attacking players

Just now seen Gyokeres shot just on 120 mins……… ffs a couple of inches to the right and thats between defenders legs and rifled into the bottom corner

Was at the parade in London, not a sign of any trouble there. Was extremely well-behaved with a huge attendance. Other title parades in recent years have been lacking at least one of those elements.

Arsenal fans in London this weekend were a credit to the club. Same in Budapest by all accounts.

I can’t understand why Nwaneri has been sidelined. He should definitely be in the squad next season.

Not sure about Zubi. I think Rice & Lewis-Skelly could be an amazing pairing next season.

Saw Gabriel & Martinelli in the airport signing autographs & posing for photos with fans before flying to the World Cup on Facebook. They really get no break!

We have to keep an eye on injuries in the World Cup (hopefully none) and see who becomes available. Should be easier to attract now we’re champions.

Just a general post on the hate comments.

When Arsenal last one the league there was no such thing as social media algorithms feeding you a stream of sh1te to get you emotionally engaged. The more you engage with it the more you are going to be fed. That is a huge part of the problem.

For entertainment value, since Jan in particular, Arsenal have been hard on the eye. There was no of the swagger or style of the 1998-2006 team.

1-0 to the Arsenal is a pretty apt description of the current team. So fcuking what; I'll take that over watching heartless cnuts like Ozil/Pepe and the rest of the shapers with all the swagger and no substance.

I was hoping Saturday night might be a modern version of 1994; when an Arsenal team featuring Ian Selley and Steve Morrow beat a Parma team with Zola, Brolin and Asprilla. What a fcuking night that was for pure grit, team spirit and brilliant defenders kept a brilliant attack at bay. I'll say one thing for Paul Davis, he was some man to keep that midfield together.

Arsenal only for a simple mistake went very close to doing that the other night. Hincapie, Rice and Gabriel were just a s good as Adams and Co 32 years ago.

You won't always win with swagger and certainly Arteta's teams don't; but the key ingredients to win any team sport are there. Give me that every day of the week over the countless shapers and false dawns we have had since 2006 or so.

Arteta has the best of foundations to work on and has squad, supporters and owners pulling in same direction. Future looks good

    Fantastic post

Someone mentioned that 2006 felt like the end of something. 94 was too for Graham.

Hopefully this is just the beginning

Declan Rice just popped up a post on instagram

I’m not crying, I’m absolutely blubbering!!!! What a couple of weeks it’s been!

saw it, class. He’ll lift the PL and CL trophy as captain of Arsenal some day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,613 ✭✭✭wassie

And remembering also, as has been mentioned several times, these teams were never up against the unlimited resources of the petro-state sponsored sportswashing machine the the current PL Champions have been.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,106 ✭✭✭✭L'prof

It looked absolutely incredible tbf. Amazing day for the players. The fans really did them proud to give them a lift after the disappointment of the night before. I didn’t know what time it was starting so I turned on Sky Sports news in the morning and the streets were already full with fans. Exact numbers or where it ranked? Who the fcuk cares?!?

Konate looks likely to play for France tonight against the Ivory Coast instead of Saliba. Both teams have qualified for the World Cup and the game is live on Virgin Media Three if anybody wants to watch it. 8:10pm kick off

I read online the Real are sniffing around Calafiori.

Also the club would accept any offer of £5m or more for Kepa.

real are being linked with everyone and since the president said he’s spending big on champions league level players then Arsenal are in the mix with the media, some players will be moved on but I doubt calafiori will be one of them
