Nice little storm going over N Kildare heading into Dublin.

Just heard the first rumble in D9. Angle of approach might brush us to the NW but we should see something.

EDIT: Looks like she might be struggling, no recent strikes on the last few ME radar updates (though these are a guideline at best sometimes).

Quite the storm in Naas it has to be said with frequent lightning and some hail. Flooding problems now

Thunder rumbling here North Dublin City and gone very dark now at 8 pm so waiting to see if it hits us .

Had lashings of rain and a lovely rainbow after it at 7 pm .

That's the first storm we've had overhead here in a good while (Portrane). Lasted about 25 minutes and sparked away over the sea as it went

Fair showing today. Tomorrow under the Negatively Tilted Upper Trough and associated cool pool of air aloft with the passage of a shortwave trough . Surface CAPE not great, most of the instability being from the mid and upper layers it would seem. Less energy tomorrow then today but a few pulse type storms possible especially in the N, NE and to a lesser extent in the E. Again the N and NE coastal areas aided by the sea breeze convergence might be the peak areas if it gets going. Some big convective showers in those areas.

Weds could be an interesting day as we move somewhat under the influence of an upper Low and associated cool pool with a fair bit of shear available, more widespread and maybe more active say from the top third or so of the island and looks to peak in the N and NE, but could get a storm anywhere really if isolated at that.
