    That's a proper gut punch

The announcer in the stadium is also somehow making the clown in the Aviva sound measured.

Christ, I wish he'd shut up

That entire build up in the 22 was so poor. Couple of decent carries, but not enough gain line, wild offloads, no support runs and finally an inside pass that was never on. Munster just trying stuff to see what happens.l and it was begging for Bulls to kick them off. Saw it in the possession prior to the scrum where Coombes threw a headless offload to a Bulls player.

Nankivell has had a great game for Munster. He's everywhere.

Disappointing weekend for Irish rugby so far. Connacht had some grit and lovely moments of rugby though. Here's hoping for a better result this evening

Empty the bench, give lads some tough experiences. Bartley and Ben O'D.

The music in the stadium can do one - but playing Zombie is top-tier trolling

Had to laugh at quinlan making excuses for munster due to injuries when executing basics is why they are 45-14 behind.

It isn't, the entire thing around the Saffer teams playing that song is pathetic.

There is a some context there alright to view the results through. Munster are in reverse gear and will be just relieved to get CC qualification sorted. Connacht have the CC qualification wrapped up and seem to be on an upward trajectory.

Interested to see how Leinster fare out tonight, hopefully there isn't a CC final hangover. Will be a chastening end to the season for Irish rugby if that happens.

Had to laugh at Zebo there when the anchor said Munster were missing some key players and Zebo replied "it might have been 45-17 instead?" 🤣

To have any hope when you're getting obliterated in the scrum you can't throw intercepts, knock-on tap and go's etc. Effort levels were there but our heavy artillery like Kleyn/Edogbo were a huge loss.

The scores either side of half time were killers. Bulls absolutely ruthless, congrats to them.

How good is Alex Nankivell, arguably the best centre on the island.

Need to unearth a quality front row, there are good players coming through elsewhere. Evan O'Connell, Edogbo X 2, Gleeson, Quinn Kendellen, Wood, those exciting centres at u20, would like to see a lot more of them next season

Zebo is a very good analyst behind the shenanigans. He is completely correct that the young players have to prove that they are good enough. There is a lot of handwringing on rugby boards that Munster aren't trusting the youth and are persisting with the likes of Fineen Whycherly and JOD. Those 2 players were the best Munster had on the pitch today and along with Nankivell are probably the only guys who could walk away from today with their pride intact.

Something is seriously rotten with this team at present. Basic skills are very poor and it doesn't appear that all players are committed. Fineen made a brilliant try saving turnover 2m from his own line at the death and received zero support from his teammates and the Bulls counteracted and turned possesion over immediately.

This summer ahead is critical for the future of Munster rugby. Some key decisions need to be made.

Stormers 0-7 Cardiff after 21 min. Stormers been awful so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,346 ✭✭✭✭Heroditas

Stormers are starting to overwhelm Cardiff now. I've lost count of the penalties Cardiff have conceded. Cardiff's scrum is being minced

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,385 ✭✭✭Paddy_Mag

    Jesus Christ Cardiff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,353 ✭✭✭KH25

Cardiff did so well to intercept on the line, only then to make a brainless crossfield kick straight to the Stormers. Absolutely stupid stuff.

Hard to see Cardiff getting back now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,328 ✭✭✭Brief_Lives

Cardiff played well. Better than what most people thought they would play.

Connacht still the best losers so far.

    leinster Lions next.

Time to go for a run while the rain has stopped here.

Right, let's hope this is better than the Champions League final.

Ball in front of Sam on the ground and he just stares at it. Allergic to physicality.

250 caps and McGrath still can't pass a rugby ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 240 ✭✭tmc1963

That’s jumping into the tackle I would say

    Bullsh!t from Sheehan.
    I'd expect more from him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,385 ✭✭✭Paddy_Mag

Did a lions player just kick a leinster player on the ground there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 8,920 ✭✭✭ongarite

Sam made that try there with the pass

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,376 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Like, we're up for this game and competing for more ferociously in contact compared to last week. Weaker opposition helps obviously.

But it's very noticeable how much better our attack flows with Prendergast at 10.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,346 ✭✭✭✭Heroditas

Very poor from Jimmy not to pin back the ears and head for the corner. Anyway, got the try eventually.

He was being held by Ioane in fairness.

Thats a lovely delayed pass from Prendergast. I really wish the guy works on his defending over the summer.
