Today a much better day today in Meath compared to yesterday, 22C most of today. Yesterday here was mostly cloudy after a hazy sunny morning and this time yesterday was only 16C and it felt cool after lunchtime.

Gorgeous sunshine from 12oc today in Meath

The sunset coming from Ashbourne along in to Kentstown over towards Navan fabulous this evening. Wow. Hard to believe with that sunset so changeable tomorrow. Rain for Meath at some stage?

Absolutely gorgeous with a few passing clouds this afternoon in Dublin 5 .

I sat out all afternoon (factored up.) which is rare for me as I get bored or too hot but the breeze made it very pleasant .

Was blown out of it yesterday evening on the seafront so would say it was worse today there.

But not in my back garden 😎

This evening in Dublin was pretty much the nicest evening all week. Hit the beach this evening and it was surprisingly quiet compared to earlier in the week...guess everyone thought the nice weather was gone after Thurs!

Yesterday was the most beautiful day here in south Mayo. Lovely sunshine, not too hot and a light breeze. It was great to be able to sit out in the sun all day, go for a walk and do some gardening.

I'm glad we finally got some summer weather but earlier in the week was a bit too hot for us. I loved having so much time in the garden but it was all spent lounging in the shade not able to do anything!

Back to rain today. It's great for the plants.

Beautiful still here in Dublin , a few clouds around but warm and calm .

The perfume from the flower heads on this palm are scenting the air ...heaven !

The evening was lovely yesterday yeah, probably the nicest we had all week as the wind finally died down. I'm only 2km from the coast here and we just seem to get a relentless cold breeze in the spring months, hence my constant complaining! At least from now onwards the breeze is getting a bit warmer so doesn't completely spoil the nice days

    I hear you .

Our front is facing east and that breeze would cut you if you were sitting there .

Lucky you though ...we are about 4.5 km from the sea

Keeps threatening to rain in Greystones then nothing and blue skies. 19c. I'm sure will see some rain at some point during the day.

Lovely pic sryan, for a moment it gave me memories of Tavira in Portugal's Algarve .

Rain slow to arrive here near Tralee but wet here now for the last 40 mins or so although light enough at just 1.2mm so far, feeling the temperature difference today only getting up to 15.8C so far. Light SW'ly breeze. Might dry up here for the afternoon so good for a walk later hopefully.

Are there no 15 minute forecasts on the Met Eireann App like there is on the website? Hourly seems to be the best.

    Father was asking

normal service has resumed here in Meath, rain has arrived, I'll probably be in hibernation watching and waiting for the next spell of nice weather, could be a few weeks away.

still sunny here in Arklow and 20.7c

Hardly any rain in Dunshaughlin, the band moving across country seems to have broken up near East coast

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 18,433 Mod ✭✭✭✭Gonzo

There's more out to our south-west but hopefully that will break up too, temperatures today are nice tho! but things definitely getting cooler as next week progresses.

Parkrun done in warm drizzle. Not too bad. Patchy rain here now but hoping for dry conditions after 5pm for golf.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,595 ✭✭✭giveitholly

After a cloudy morning and a drop of rain it has opened up into a lovely day, sunny and breezy with a temp of 19c. If this is what normal service is,then I will take it

Many thanks. Have never been the Algarve, I mean to go. Got a serious sunrise sky this morning as well, in Howth. Red sky in the morning and all that alerting to the change.
