Mad to think that as things stand, there's a 7 point gap back to City, and United are as close to them as they are to us.

Fantastic reception by the Palace fans to Eze. Great to see clubs still respect their champions.

waiting this long in an away ground seems a bullshit way to get the trophy. Would've been better doing it on the streets outside the Emirates at this rate.

Great images from that, shame about the wait and it not being at the Emirates.

From what I find online, the lady is the PL chairwoman and the young man is part of a community program that Arsenal supports.

Don't know who the woman was but the guy in the jersey is Emmanuel Nmecha a player and ambassador for the Downs team.

It's hard to elieve that we won by 7 points in the end. I couldn't see that gap a few weeks ago, thought that if we won it would be by 1 or 2 points. The Arsenal fans were brilliant today too. Really enjoyed themselves.

thought the whole presentation was very classy. The guy who is ambassador from the additional needs team that the club supports, what seemed like anyone who draws a wage from the club in white all very much part of it. Palace also seemed to play ball and allow fans in after.

Heard a stat on Sky today - Arsenal are the first team in the Premier League era to not receive either a Penalty or Red Card for the entire season.

Also had the lowest in the league for Yellow Cards with 51 (followed by Pool with 58).

Some turnaround from the 6 red cards last season! Chelsea had 8 this season.

Yeah i dont have the stats on hand. But we havent been a goal behind or more for the majority of the season. Majority been level or ahead in games, so less chaos etc. And thats by design and deliberate. Fully deserved to win the league, despite it not always been pretty.

Merino, Zubimendi and Raya in the Spanish squad for the World Cup. It's the first time ever no Real Madrid player has not made a Spanish World Cup squad.

Our defenders, esp Gabby & Saliba, tend to stay on their feet more I feel also which helps avoid cards.

So pleased for Merino. He was is such good form it would of been a massive disappointment if he didnt get in.

For those thinking of going to River bar this sat note below

As we enter the final planning stages with River Bar ahead of the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday 30th May, we wish to provide members with an important update regarding attendance arrangements.

Please note the following important information:

    • Doors to River Bar will open from 2pm and we strongly encourage members to arrive early.

    • We are expecting an extremely large crowd throughout the day and unfortunately we cannot guarantee entry for members arriving after 4:30pm.

    • There will be a check-in process in place on arrival. Please ensure you have your DASC lanyard/membership ready for inspection.

    • Seating within the members' area will be limited, with standing room available on one side of the bar.

    • Please note that once maximum capacity has been reached in the downstairs members’ area of River Bar, check-in for that area will be closed. Any members arriving after this point may be required to watch the match from the upstairs section of the venue.

    • We are currently receiving a large number of enquiries regarding guests and non-members attending. While we will do our very best to accommodate where possible, priority access must be given to registered DASC members and capacity restrictions may apply later in the day. We would therefore strongly encourage members to arrive early.

As always, we appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all members at River Bar, the home of Dublin Arsenal Supporters Club.

Was heading for the river bar yesterday but we were told it was members only, fair enough. We went up to Sinnotts which had a fair number of gooners and plenty of rival fans with some good banter. Will probably head there on Saturday unless any other Dublin City centre recommendations?

How do you become a member. I was interested last year, but couldn't find the link and never really investigated it further at the time, but would like to become a member for next season

I was in Buskers for Europa League final v Chelsea and was a good atmosphere pre match….would that be an option this year seeing that river bar looks a non runner?

apparently there won’t be a trophy lift at the planned parade on Sunday because of the volume of people expected

Where's the best spots in Dublin to watch the game? Big screen if possible and not a load of smaller screens

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,667 ✭✭✭DenMan

The Woolshed in Parnell Street is a great spot, especially upstairs. It's a proper sports bar.

Don't know anyone going myself, the few I do got tickets for the live screening in the Emirates. Bit of upset over that too as supporters clubs got their allocations reduced apparently.
