Gyökeres, like doesn't start when title on line, doesn't start when B team is out. Took the risk, and backfired.

So held off MR with my lead, mainly due to Bruno Captain for both of us. None of my differential returned, but only Bowen for him returned and only gaining 5 or 7 points keeps me on top.

Also I know we don't always looking high up to the top but fair dues to the winner, holding 1st place comfortably amid all the chaos. Saw an interview with him on fpl mate during the week.

56 points all out. Ended up outside top 10k (13k) once Gyökeres came on to kill my Tavernier 10 points.

Overall more than HEWT the season, highest ever rank to top my 18k previous OR, but disappointed to get pipped in main ML. Went down to the wire.

Palmer missed Penalty looking back and Salah hitting post today, some big swings.

Anyway! Time for a few bottles in the Sun.

Ps. Even with how quiet boards FPL has become, I still enjoy posting away and the convo. Hope ye all have a nice summer and we go again in August.

Going for Salah over Bruno for captain was the difference between keeping a 14pt lead and winning my league, and hopefully now scraping second place. I really didn't see it being that much of a swing, even with Bruno chasing the record. Probably should have just played it safe, but where's the fun in that!
