Don't understand why they went with the sob story route for Royce. Like he's a powerhouse (pun intended) and I'm sure anyone cheering him is mainly from knowing him from AEW. Then to add to it, the package kept using his real name.

I'm sorry, I know, I feel dumb and even appear dumb for saying it. I can't really defend it even. I just think it's entertaining and their level of committing to the bit is what's making it work for me.

I think it's definitely a fun dynamic. The Sami/Trick heel/face alignment is a mess but I do think that if or when they properly turn both definitively it could lead to Trick being a massive face and Sami being a great heel.

Sami is also good with this comedy stuff and I think Trick showing he's able to pull this off (him reacting to the death of the Gingerbread man was excellent) and having some variety to his character will help him a lot in the long run.

Again I know it's not for everyone but I don't mind a bit of silliness in my wrestling and it's rare that it can actually get a genuine laught out of me and the Gingerbread Man stuff has managed to do that.

I'm hoping that's it for now though, although knowing WWE they will drive it into the ground until it is well and truly dead.

I think a Gingerbread Frankenstein Monster portrayed by Baron Corbin would be the strongest case yet to suggest Vince is still involved somehow.
