Some going for an 86 year old lad! Played for about 2½ hours

When it was good it was utterly sublime. His voice is obviously not what it was and I thought some of the more upbeat songs were a struggle, Graceland in particular. But most of it was brilliant, and solo Sound of Silence was worth going on its own!

    Enjoyable night

The bus home to Waterford was late (which is sadly the new norm after Expressway fucked off) but won't let it ruin my night

If only I was old enough, jesus that must of been some night

I was at that S&G RDS Concert. Very special. Though I remember people wanting more from the Everly Brothers - their 3 song? set was more lively.

People started to sing along then stopped when they were blown away by S&G's vocals

I was there this evening. Felt a little sad but many wonderful moments. It's very apparent the onstage volume has to be low so Paul can hear himself sing etc

my da took me to this, so last night I took him to Paul Simon.

We had never seen him solo but were blown away last night, front row tickets definitely didn’t hurt.

Loved how 'The Lord' worked it's way into some of the other album songs

One of the US shows got recorded last year so hopefully a documentary/live album will be released

The crowd were all over him when he nearly said London instead of Dublin. Though not as bad as the time McCartney played here and he said "when I play here and the UK" and a massive portion of the audience heard it as, "here in the UK" and went berserk. Poor McCartney got very confused. Surprised he didn't play Give Ireland Back to the Irish as a make good.

They were gentle as he clambered out of it fairly well I thought .

    What a lovely concert !

The music the lovely musicians and Paul himself so old but still able to command a full arena, playing not just hits of which he had many more that he could have played , but his favourites and singing (almost )as well as before .

My youngest son who accompanied me , had been listening to the new music and was delighted with the oldies as I was , with all the memories for me flooding back , of my parents playing S&G tapes and all of us singing along ❤️

Homeward Bound, my favourite , 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover sublime , and The Sound of Silence finishing off for me a very beautiful and emotional night .

Block D, centre front , worth every penny !

Those two choices from Rhythm of the Saints were jaw dropping.
