No, listen to the video, he did not say that. It amounts to that, but he did not say it.

A bit like he didn't say he'd nuke Iran but he did say "an entire civilization will die tonight". Before he TACO'ed again, of course.

Just one question for you, Whole Year In, would the Strait of Hormuz be closed like it is today if K. Harris , or for that matter if Biden was president? And for that matter one could ask loads of other questions on other current situations on issues that do not st well re stability, famine , bdisease outbreaks, etc ,etc.

Actually, trump has shown awful judgement in everyone he has appointed. Can you point to a single successful trump appointment that hasn't ended in utter disaster with trump (or is currently a disaster), usually, calling them names after the fact? All of the trump1 appointees are being pushed out a lot of the trump2 appointees have already been pushed (Noem, Musk, Bondi, Waltz, Bovino and more).

Do you think that's sane judgement?

He absolutely was respected and the world was in a far more stable position. In relation to the drug use, the family had a pretty traumatic history so not unusual. And do you think Don Jr isn't coked up? Trump is tolerated but he is not respected...

Does no one advise Don Jr against posting videos when hes clearly coked up, talking fast and using his favourite air quotes.

Is Trump not on ‘sticky ground’ here. Ie He always said that he did not encourage , suggest to or ask the MOB to disrupt, attack, interfere, etc the proceedings in the Capitol on Jan 6th. Now he is saying that the mob did it for him???????.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 4,352 ✭✭✭Field east

This response by Trump is beyond unbelievable. There must be a noun, pronoun, adjective, etc. left out that would turn the statement around to say the complete opposite. Trump ca’nt be that naieve- Ho wait , maybe — —-.

What's anyone going to do? Arrest him? He controls the US DoJ. The head of the FBI wrote a children's book…. correction - multiple children's books glorifying Trump. No-one left to independently administer justice. It's only a wonder that he isn't more brazen about it at this point.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,925 ✭✭✭✭everlast75

Well, he can split hairs and say that he didn't ask them to do anything... And distance himself that way.

What I can't understand is why he's allocating such a large amount of money for ANTIFA, who organized the riots apparently?

Elect a clown... Expect a circus

rightwing podcasters and youtubers are talking less about Trump and more about silly stuff like trans rights, Kamela Harris and AOC etc., completely avoiding the Iran war, pump prices, and general corruption of the Trump administration. It's so obvious now that Trump can't even be defended these days by these grifters

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,917 ✭✭✭amacca

Wait...what? He didn't actually say that did he?.....how is this continuing?

They're not beating the Party Of Nonces allegations with this sort of thing

So, if I understand the chain of events correctly.

Trump had ordered his military to restart the war with Iran with an attack on Tuesday. This was an attempt to force the Iranians to agree to US demands, on the threat of restarting the military campaign

This information was so widely known that the other Gulf states called on Trump not to carry out any attacks.

Trump called off the attacks despite Iran having met none of the conditions that he had set down to avoid attacks.

No deadlines or redlines have been put in place by Trump, to avoid future attacks, and so the ceasefire is now effectively permanent, and the Gulf states are now dictating US military policy

I think it's more a case that absolutely all of the above happened entirely in Trump's head. He thinks it makes him sound tough because he was going to destroy Iran but all the other Gulf leaders begged him not to (as opposed to it actually making him sound crazy), and he's so benevolent that he's willing to give Iran another chance (even though Iran are clearly just hanging back and letting the US effectively negotiate with itself as to what it's willing to allow to help them get out of the mess they created themselves).

Biden did not rob and bankrupt everybody he came across, he was not a pedo, rapist, 32 time felon, Trump is in it for the money and his ego, he has blood on his hands and cares not a shyte.

Biden also passed the Inflation Reduction Act which disproportionately benefitted red states. When asked why, he said that it was because it was the right thing to do.

Beyond advice at this stage, has no problem allowing a fellow cokehead around his 5 kids, bc he is a billionaire and Junior saves on alimony, at a guess Todd Blanche is his lawyer.

MBS is acting head of the richest family on Earth and is well pissed off with Trump, as an inication of this he has hurt Trump's ego by effectively shutting down the LIV Golf project, this will hurt the turnover of Trump Inc., but demanding return of the $2bn to Affinity Partners/Jared Kushner would really hurt and Jared has all the dirt on Donald and his family.

MBS could also tell Qatar to demand return of jet and start switching Defence contracts away from US.

So, the 'speech' CFTrump gave at the Rededicate250 nonsense was prerecorded. It was the same one he gave at the "Amerika reads duh Bihbul' event 3 weeks ago. https://www.jefftiedrich.com/p/actual-antichrist-speaks-at-christofascist

I hate to defend him but what he said in that video is not the "quote" from him that the person wrote in their tweet. It is misleading. Trump says a lot of abhorrent things so there is no need to make stuff up too.

Is this fund exclusively for those unfairly targeted by the Federal Government under Democratic Administrations as has been reported? Only under Democratic Administrations? Wouldn't be surprised if the Epstein Estate gets a few bob and lot more to Maxwell to keep her quiet!

Agreed. It's certainly implied by what he's saying and by what he's said previously, but it does need to be made clear that it's not what he actually said.

CNN’s Jake Tapper Stunned by ‘Sinister and Awful’ Revelation About Trump’s $1.8B Slush Fund

JAKE TAPPER: Scott I can’t be overstated. This is unprecedented. Tell us more about who has discretion over who is going to get any of this money in this so- called anti weaponization fund.

SCOTT MACFARLANE: Here’s what we know Jake. We know that it’s going to be appointees of the Trump administration won by Congress who will be overseen by Todd Blanche. We know this is our money. This is taxpayer money from soup to nuts top to bottom and we will not know, Jake, who gets the money how much they get. This is not a transparent process. This is all happening behind closed doors in a process that does not have transparency. We also know this is a political albatross for Republicans.

If I handed you, Jake, copies of every supportive triumphant statement from Republicans backing this fund today you would be holding no papers in your hand. This is like a rotten egg salad sandwich politically for Republicans so far. Maybe that changes, maybe in the days ahead.

TAPPER: I want to read Clause D from the Justice Department’s announcement of the fund. It says, “Once the funds are deposited into the designated account, the United States has no liability whatsoever for the protection or safeguarding of those funds, regardless of bank failure, fraudulent transfers or any other fraud or misuse of the funds.” This is — I mean the way I read that is this is pre-emptively somebody — if somebody uses this money from taxpayers to commit a crime no legal retribution for the Justice Department.

And the person who controls all of this is none other than the Master of Bankruptcy

I think the reason he hasn't pressed the button yet is because lots of people, lots of very very smart people have told him they don't know exactly what will happen to the oil. A nuke could ignite it, lots of it. It could turn it radioactive meaning no-one wants it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,676 ✭✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

I had an uncle years ago who was an alcoholic. I remember asking my mother why was he, and she told me his wife and daughter died in a house fire. I remember thinking, if that happened to me I'd probably be one too.

Doubtful imo.....a detonation above ground would be highly unlikely to ignite or irradiate large amounts of oil below ....I think .....now it could take out the extraction infrastructure and leave the area above ground...less than hospitable ...

But you don't need to detonate a nuclear device where there is oil stored above ground etc.... ....you can't control what others do but that's unlikely too imo

Also he doesn't have to use nuclear weapons...conventional weapons can knock out civilian infrastructure just fine
