Its interesting that his surname is "Crowe", given SCOTUS is effectively allowing Jim Crow to be reintroduced by gerrymandering and hard to obtain Voter ID laws.

Putting aside the hypothetical nonsense, he really is persisting in calling Democrats - "Dumacrats"!?

Presumably therefore it would be acceptable to starting calling Republicans - "Rapepublicans", given their tendency to protect the rapists?

The stench of desperation from that drivel is overpowering

What's both hilarious and depressing is how proud he seems to be of himself for coming up with it, and how long it took him to come up with it.

He couldn't attend this really important Christian event that's central to his goal of making America great again because he went golfing instead.

And it's not even a fresh recording ,most of it came from another "prayer" related thing last month.

I'd say the stench of Moron...I don't think he's capable of desperation...that would go against his conviction that he's infallible and anything that does go wrong is someone else's fault/a conspiracy etc

What even is the point of this hypothetical? Iran is showing absolutely no signs of 'coming out with its hands up' in this way…

I assumed it was AI as he hasn't fallen asleep or wandered off topic into discussing how he is so much better than God

China Street Journal? Crikey, after getting shown up last week, you'd think he'd lay off the old racism for a few days.

It's more depressing that a group of people will listen to this drivel and think it somehow vindicates their opinions/worldview rather than make them feel like hanging their head in shame that they ever contributed to letting this clown anywhere near consequential decision making

How poor does ones judgement have to be for that drivel from that moron to be something that you think is a good thing

I'm struggling to adequately express my contempt for these morons tbh....listening to vox pop earlier, it's clear it is something of a cult (at least the fools that were interviewed and the cult members aren't capable of much in the way of critical thought....I hope in time they develop some capacity for it although given their age I wouldn't be hopeful......if any gerrymandering should be done its to prevent irresponsible fruitloop adults like these from voting....a basic test of reasoning / cause and effect should be a minimum....to save the rest if us from the consequences of idiots like those interviewd having any influence on how things are run...

This is insanity, but shows how much power Trump has over the Republicans, how spineless they are and how corrupt Trump is.

He's dropping his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS, but instead has done a deal with his own DoJ to get $1.8 billion in restitution funds, to compensate anyone he feels was targeted by Bidens DoJ. So January 6 rioters, Giuliani, his buddies. Anyone he feels like rewarding get a payout. Reward for backing Trump (even illegally or violently) and incentive to do it again

But you have to understand that in the view of the character on the right's eyes, Obama was the most divisive president ever , but because he was bi-racial. He represented to people like her an attempt to move to a whole new plateau of societal enlightenment, which was utterly intolerable to both the people in deep red states and also the emerging reactionary counterculture in the US.

And to her, Donald Trump is the most unifying president ever. The Democrat party might as well be a proscribed organisation and their supporters run out of the country. Trump unifies the "real" Americans, ie Republicans.

It's warped, and parts of it MAGA wouldn't even really admit to themselves, but consistent in its way.

"Donald Trump’s plan to build two new helipads has revealed his luxury Marine One choppers cost $215 million each—more than 10 times the price of the old fleet.

The 79-year-old, who has spent his second term gleefully refashioning the Executive Mansion, wants new permanent landing pads built at both the White House and his Mar-a-Lago resort to accommodate the supersized new Sikorsky VH-92A Patriot."

Where does it stop? Why Mara a Lago if he is term will likely end before the choppers and heli pads are completed?

The Trump-DOJ deal for the $1.7billion slush-fund to reward Jan 6th criminals is the main news item in CNN, the NY Times and the Washington Post. Even the sleepy mainstream media is latching on to this.

Never in history has corruption been so huge, so open, so brazen.

Discharge Petition on Ukraine aid has reached 218 votes, which forces a House vote on it. Trump is opposed to the bill. If it passes will he veto it? I think so given he vetoed a bill that was passed almost unanimously on water in Colorado.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,380 ✭✭✭bog master

If I recall correctly, he vetoed the water bill because of Lauren Boebert!

    TACO Trump strikes again.

It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

How utterly embarrassing for all his fanboys on here, to see their Great Leader exude such weakness and cowardice.

The world respected the U.S. under Obama and Biden, and is laughing at it now, while Trump flip flops on Iran and keeps himself busy walking around, spouting on about the Washington Monument and his ridiculous ballroom.

All while the US spirals towards bankruptcy, people are struggling, businesses are going down the toilet and millions are being skimmed by Trump and his allies... and that's not even mentioning the tariff debacle.

Not a peep from his supporters, or even those who post here just to try to get a reaction from the rest of us.

Come back folks - We'd love to hear your attempts to defend this imbecile!!!

And on to "only the best" MS ICE BARBIE

ICE Barbie’s South Dakota Past Comes Back to Haunt Her

“Fallout from Kristi Noem’s time as South Dakota governor has emerged just weeks after she was ousted as Homeland Security secretary following a series of scandals.

Twelve of 19 prisoners released early by Noem during her time as governor have since been charged with new crimes, South Dakota Searchlight reports.

Of those 12, seven have been charged with felonies, most of them drug-related. Other charges include domestic violence and driving under the influence.

Noem, 54, issued 27 commutations during her six-year tenure as governor, according to the outlet. But in a highly unusual move, she reportedly issued 19 commutations without the endorsement of the Board of Pardons and Parole in 2022 and 2023.”

Ah sure, she is just trying to keep up with Taco Man and his Jan 6 buddies.

So let me get this straight, Trump has just told the world that he planned to launch an attack on Iran tomorrow and cancelled it on the basis that Irans neighbours asked him not to do it AND that he has told his war machine to get reasy for an ever bigger attack if Iran does not surrender? This after he had a meeting with Xi and Iran, global shipping and trade from the Gulf region were on the agenda.

I can't wait for him to tell us that he's ordered Hegseth to have the USS Missouri to sail to the gulf so he can accept the surrender of the Ayatollah on it's deck.

Does lightning strike twice or three times or more?

Pardoned Jan. 6 rioter arrested again in Texas, extending brutal pattern

Trump’s pardons for Jan. 6 rioters were already indefensible. As many of them run into fresh trouble with the law, the move continues to look even worse.

    steve-benen-msnbc_1.png?w=120

May. 18, 2026, 8:57 AM EDTBy Steve Benen

At a congressional hearing last week, Republican Sen. Eric Schmitt complained that Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee continue to focus on the Jan. 6 attack from five years ago. To hear the Missouri senator tell it, it’s time for the political world to simply move on from the insurrectionist attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Among the many problems with Schmitt’s argument is that the relevance of the political violence hasn’t faded at all, especially as many of the rioters who received pardons from Donald Trump run into fresh trouble with the law. Two days before Schmitt’s complaint, Law & Crime reported:

A Jan. 6 rioter from Texas who was pardoned by President Donald Trump and claimed he had “completely changed” since the 2021 U.S. Capitol attack was arrested Sunday and charged with deadly conduct after allegedly threatening a churchgoer with a gun.

Ryan Nichols, 36, is accused of displaying and grabbing the weapon, a pistol, while threatening and confronting a man over a “prior disagreement” in the parking lot of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Harleton, according to local police officials.

If Nichols’ name sounds at all familiar, it might be because the Texan recently announced plans to run for Congress as a Republican, though he withdrew from the race soon after.

He’s the same man who pleaded guilty in 2023 to crimes he committed on Jan. 6 telling a judge he was “very sorry” for the “bad choice” that he made in early 2021. Nichols further claimed that he had “completely changed” in the wake of the attack.

Three years later, he’s due back in court in early June, where he’ll say whether he intends to plead guilty or not guilty in the wake of his latest arrest.

Just days before Nichols was taken into custody, law enforcement officials in Florida announced a prostitution, human trafficking and child predator sting, which led to the arrest of two more Jan. 6 participants who had received pardons from the incumbent president.

Two weeks before that, a pardoned Jan. 6 rioter reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in North Carolina over charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and possessing sexually explicit images of children.

Those developments come three weeks after a different Jan. 6 rioter who received a presidential pardon was sentenced to four years in prison on child pornography charges. Earlier in the month, a different Jan. 6 rioter, who was also rescued by Trump, was sentenced to life in prison for molesting two children.

Around the same time, another pardoned Jan. 6 rioter was charged with threatening a police officer who served at the Capitol. This came roughly a month after the same man was arrested in Minneapolis after destroying an ice sculpture that was outside the state Capitol.

Unfortunately, this is just the start of a larger list of insurrectionists who ran into trouble with the law after receiving clemency from Trump.

In February, for example, a different pardoned Jan. 6 rioter was convicted in Florida of child molestation and exposing himself to children. (The man, Andrew Paul Johnson, attempted to bribe one of his victims by saying the administration would send him money as part of restitution for those who attacked the Capitol.)

One week earlier, another pardoned rioter, Christopher Moynihan, who was arrested after allegedly threatening to assassinate House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated harassment as part of a plea agreement.

And TACO Man wants to give some taxpayers money to these ehmmmm?

Imagine if the Taoiseach pardoned everyone convicted in the Dublin riots from a few years ago, and then gave each of them loads of tax-payers money as a gift. That's basically the level of depravity that Trump is operating under.
