I got mine 5 days after the panel interviews. It doesn't take too long. If you passed the minimum requirements, you'll get your batch number and your new OOM within that batch and wait for PAS to contact you.

    Hello everyone,

I scored in the 300s in Dublin in the OOM, does anyone know how far along they are in the interviewing process or know if I will get an interview?

I am weighing up the options of doing further study or getting some more experience first.

    Thank you all!

Does anyone know what OOM is likely to get called in Donegal?

they shoul be doing batches of up to 150 per month, it's usually 7 interviews per days, so the 301 and up batch should be around July if they don't stop for a short time in between.

Interviews will only happen if positions need to be filled, such demand for staff isn't always constant and is also dependent on budget. Things may be moving at a fast pace currently due to the fact that the last competition ended in late March and could go into a lull after an initial burst. Personally I wouldn't be putting other things on hold CS recruitment can be quite a slow process.

I scored in the top 5 for Sligo and have heard nothing, I'm assuming they have no positions to fill at the moment which is disappointing but not surprising. They only filled between 1-9 from the 2024 panel

I'm also top 5 in Sligo, for both CO and EO! Waiting (im)patiently to hear something from either.

Suppose I am in for a long few days refreshing my inbox constantly until next wendesday even though I know round 1 are still interviewing today and tomorrow so OOMs couldn't possibly be decided until the last interview tomorrow.

I have looked over the 2024 thread and good news is very few seem to actually fail the interview rather they just decide to not take the position. Does anyone from the 2024 thread recall many failing?

    Hello,

I'm just wondering about flexi and working from home options.

Does anyone know if there is a list available for Departments' flexi and WFH options at EO grade?

If not would you mind posting what flexi/wfh is available in your Department particular to those in Cork?

    TIA

I received this email back from PAS relating to people that ticked “interdepartmental” stream that not eligible for it!

This will hopefully speed up things for the interdepartmental route for eligible CS. 🙏

Candidates’ eligibility for the interdepartmental stream is reviewed post interview, if a candidate is not eligible for this stream, they are removed from it and advised of this.

Candidates may only be offered one position from this competition, therefore if a candidate is assigned a role from the interdepartmental stream they are removed from the open stream and vice versa.

I’m in a different county, but what kind of interview questions did they ask you? Hope you did well and get an offer of position soon!

Hi, I placed 45 OOM for Mayo. Has anyone heard anything back yet from Mayo and does anyone know if my number will make it to the interview stage? Thanks

I wouldn't think so. This competition is being run by PAS, which has no part in the EU Presidency.

My other half was top 5 in Mayo and had his interview last week. I’m not far behind you but I’m not expecting an interview to be honest. The last panel took very few (partner was on that one as well).

Thank you! I am mid 100s so I'll be a while. It would be nice to have a timeframe.
