I bought one of the vip package ticket thingies for this show, first time I've ever bought one of those.

Will I get some kind of email from Ticketmaster letting me know about how to collect my extra bits?

Lol. You get a poster and laminate/lanyard thing. More importantly, I got a seat dead centre of the second row in the stalls.

Was only about €40 more than the 'normal' priced seats a bit further back so felt it was worth it. A birthday treat to myself.

Single ticket for sale on Twickets if anyone needs one.

I've no affiliation, just saw it on Reddit.

    Hi guys,

First time in the bord gais. Does anyone have an idea of whether the "8PM" means a stage time of 8PM or later, thanks.

Can someone post what merch is available? Going to Belfast tomorrow and want to know if it's worth paying the merch stand a visit.

They were doing a roaring trade. Difficult to take a photo of what they had.

Several regular style t-shirts at €40 each. A black tour shirt with the motif of the four of them on the front, and tour dates on the back. A blue Autobahn one.

Also, ringer style shirts, which I think were a bit more expensive. Autobahn, Tour de France, The Man Machine.

    A signed poster for €75.

A signed Ralf book for €100.

A set of eight square album cover button badges for €20.

Selected individual square album cover enamel badges for €10 each.

A Tour de France water bottle.

    A programme.

    No skateboards.

    3rd time seeing them.

Good gig as always (setlist and performance hasn't deviated much over the last few years)

I was in row K (left of centre) which was a bit too close, probably better off being a bit further back and centre for the visuals.

Thought the volume increased as the gig went on and it was well loud from the halfway point on!

Did anyone else notice the left hand side of the p.a. cutting out intermittently?

Merch stall was v busy, huge queue.

    Got a hoodie for 100 quid 😬

Anyway, enjoyed it, Ralf not getting any younger so who knows if/when we might see them again.

Yes, frequent dropouts on the left side. Unfortunate. Didn't spoil it too much, but was a noticeable distraction.

    Very enjoyable show, though.

Was seated in upper circle. It was perfect for a visual gig such as this..

I think this theatre has the best sound of the lot. Didn't notice the left side losing audio as seated to the right .

Its a pity they don't have more music gigs in bord gais. It's slim pickings.

I noticed the left side cutting out quite a bit during the first half, only once or twice in the second half and the cutouts were brief. Other than that the sound was great. I'm not sold on the BGT for music gigs though, it's too static. At another venue I think people might have gotten up to dance.

Band were great, I would have preferred a couple of older tunes to the likes of La Forme or the newer bits of TdF. It would have been nice to hear Showroom Dummies or Pocket Calculator. Trans-Europe Express was probably the highlight for me, really loud on the Metal-on-Metal section. Planet of Visions was surprisingly great, they've really developed that one from when it was the fairly boring "Expo 2000".

I've always wonder how much the guys are actually doing on stage so it was interesting to see (from the Circle) Ralf manipulating his vocals using a keyboard. Not entirely sure what the other guys were doing, the guy to Ralf's left (Fritz?) seemed to be waving his hands over the console at times.

ralf does the vocal parts, so he is singing and playing. The 2 middle guys control basslines, drum loops and trigger samples. The fourth member is in charge of the video elements, which are triggered and mixed along with the music.

    • Well that was quite something. Visually the best I've ever seen them. Lovely Sakamoto tribute too.
    • Only downside was the sound drop-out to the left but otherwise a great night.
    • As far as merch goes I'd say they made a fortune.

    That was cool.

I'd read beforehand and heard people saying afterwards that it was essentially the same show that they've been playing for years, but I'd never seen them before, so I was just happy and privileged to be there.

It's a strange mix of feelings the music evokes: it's timeless, but also of a time. What caught me - and even made me feel a bit emotional - is how this music which once would have sounded so cold and alien, functions now as a soundtrack from a more future looking time. There's a utopian quality to Kraftwerk's music that makes it all feel very optimistic and human.

The sound did drop on a left on a few occasions, seemed to sort itself out as the concert went on. It wasn't the loudest gig at the start, but did seem to get progressively louder as it went on.

It was my first time in the venue. Layout is great in terms of sightlines etc, but it really does feel like the theatre venue that it is at times. Not much fear of people moving around. But I was pretty happy to just sit and soak it all in.

Great gig, I’ve seen them a few times down the years. Sound was excellent, I didn’t notice anything where I was sitting.

Excellent gig, though was probably the weakest of the three times I've seen them over the last few years, mainly due to it being a seating gig. The other two times I saw them were at Longitude in Marley park years ago (class), and the Trinity gig in 2024 (I think), which was one of the loudest gigs I was ever at.

Was my first time at a gig in the Bord Gais. Not sure I'd go to another one unless it would suit sitting down the whole thing. As a theatre though, it's the best in Ireland by a long shot.

I see they've added Pocket Calculator to the setlist.

Would have loved to have heard it at the Dublin show.
