Found this guy on the road. I think it's a buzzard. Beautiful bird...poor fella.

Shame to see one dead. Wonder if there are any injuries?
In case of Avian Flu you might report it at the link above
Not sure if NPWS do any checking of dead birds of prey in case of poisoning, but someone here might know

i found a dead buzzard at the side of the road a couple of years ago and ended up on the phone to an NPWS ranger, who concluded that as it was at the side of the road, it was almost certainly a vehicle strike - the odds of one dying at the side of the road from another cause would be miniscule.
