Prefabricated shower in apt

I have a pre fabricated ensuite with pvc panel walls in an apt and water damage has rotted the floor and sink end the shower tray.

I can’t afford to replace the entire ensuite.

Is it possible to take up the floor tiles (which are easy to lift) and just replace the rotten piece of board underneath and retile and also remove and install, a new shower and tray.

If it is not possible to do this, are there companies that install new prefabricated en-suites and roughly how much would it be?

    a pod bathroom perhaps.

Most is possible with the right mind set.

    I’d guess a figure of between €3k - €5k

Problem is that it's not just a few tiles. Original shower, tiles, walls etc weren't included correctly.

Based on what you are saying, I would think that the tray, wall and floor tiles need replacing. Floor under the tray needs strengthening and replacing. Probably the walls too. It all should be tanked before refitting the tray and walls / tiles.

Putting PVC or other walls over a badly fitted tray will eventually leak because you are relying on a silicon seal between the wall and the tray.

If done correctly you should never need any silicone inside the shower cubicle at all. Tanking is barrier number one. Classi seal on the tray is barrier number two. Silicone inside the shower cubicle would be barrier number three & should never be needed.

I have no advice for cheaper options unfortunately

so just to clarify are you saying the whole thing needs to be ripped out and replaced. Could just the floor not be replaced with new board.tiles and a new tray and shower enclosure only…why does the toilet vanity unit and walls need to go if they are in good order?

I'm only talking about the shower cubicle & the walls behind, & the floor. The tray can probably be used again if you want to
