Anyone having trouble with the deer lic portal?

    Been trying to complete my deer lic application for 2026. Have filled in and added all the revelant stuff,but the process will not allow me to hit the finish button.Have checked ,re edited and attempted at least a dozen times, have contacted the tech dept and they say this is a never seen before issue.Has anyone else experianced any probs like this within the last 48 hours?

    Mine was a dream to use applied last Friday evening licence arrived Monday morning.

    Without stating the obvious did you submit last year's returns first.

    The last time I had an issue was when I didn't do the returns first.

    I did.It wont let you proceed past the returns until they are filled in.

    I filled in the returns, completed the form and submitted.

    I had the license the next day via Email.

    Right, after having a chat with the NPWS/housing Dept and doing a online conference, we got it sorted.

    BUT it is a bug in the system that they have not seen before! It has something to do with their anti virus,hack…tech stuff that is above my tech IQ and knowledge.

    It needs a hard reset from their end. As I tried everything yesterday PM to get it to work,by deleting and re filling and logging in a half dozen times with no joy. So if you do run into this issue of filling in everything correctly and get to the Finish button and you cant proceed any further. Contact the tech support. They really want to exorcise this particular ghost in their machine.

    Im having the same problem, did not upload the back of one of my licences, went to do it and I cannot finish the application.

    Submitted yesterday morning and received my license yesterday afternoon

    You'll need to give the tech heads a shout.They need to reset it from their end.DeerLicences@npws.gov.ie or call 01 888 3242

    Got mine within 24 hours of the problem being sorted .
