oh I thought now he's alive? I'm only half listening tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,784 ✭✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

Ive been listening from the beginning and it definitely sounded like he did die, because she was talking about him in the past tense.

    Im confused now.

Laura: "I used to cry(over seeing the wheelchair symbol)."

    Kieran: "Why's that?"

    He's an absolute clown. 🤡

Why would a mother possibly cry over her perfectly healthy son ending up in a wheelchair over a senseless vicious attack(not to mention all the other life altering effects for him and his family)?

No, he's still alive. But has suffered after effects etc.

I didn't think they could replace Joe with anyone that could sound disinterested and not explain or tell the story as bad as Joe, but I was wrong! Dear god he's brutal, he sounds so bored.

With Joe half of the questions would be about de pain. He appears to be a Jack de Lad. Lived at home with de Ma, went to the pub and casino etc. Yet had two children.

Is one learning to articulate the received pronunciation?

So I have been listening to Liveline since 1.55, that's 20 minutes and I have no idea at all who this lady is talking about, what the subject of the show is. Appalling radio, its like listening into a telephone conversation between 2 people, I haven't a breeze what's going on.

Bad presentation Kieran, you should be updating listeners who have just joined who and what you're talking about!! It sounds like a tragic story but WHO are you talking about?

Ive been listening from the start Im still confused.

He is on record stating he wants The Late Late chair. Seems Lahvlahn is not good enough and is just a stepping stone

A woman walking her dog on the old Navan Road in Mulhuddart at 4:30 in the morning makes an anonymous call for an ambulance? And she has never come forward? 🤔 Colour me suspicious.

Maybe it was the partner or female relation of one of the thugs that were told what happened when they returned home, covered in blood, who had a conscience, made that call.

No. They allow 'Regional Accents' on the BBC these days, not just on The Archers.

Lost the Left Hand or lost 'the use of' the Left Hand?

Did we find out how many from Liveline went to Prague?

RTÉ sent 41 staff and contractors to Prague in March. This included 12 on-air roles, 12 personnel in editorial production, nine technical staff, six journalists and two people from RTÉ commercial partnership team

Some of the on-air personalities who travelled to Czechia included Liveline presenter Kieran Cuddihy, 2FM Drive presenters Demi Isaac and Mikey O’Reilly and Inside Sport presenter Marie Crowe. linky

Only heard the start so far but wandering off to a late night casino after a feed in the pub sounds like a recipe for some form of trouble anyway.

What colour was the dog that the Mulhuddart woman was walking in July 2020?

  • Moderators, Entertainment Moderators, Paid Member Posts: 11,898 Mod ✭✭✭✭squonk

Kieran, there was nobody walking a dog at that hour

Kieran: "When do you have to be out of YOUR house?"

Her house? I have sympathy, but it's not her house.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,304 ✭✭✭✭zell12

    "fixing all the showers"

How many showers does the house have?

Some people have no cop now. There was a case the other day about a man who drove over a bride to be. He was a disqualified driver. A terrible tragedy for sure except the woman was lying across the road at 2:30AM. Her mother appeared on the news saying the sentence wasn’t enough. You’d think she’d hade stayed a bit quiet given the poor choice of her daughter. Same with this mother. Yer man got a terrible time but he helped put himself in line for it too.

Tenants get 8 months notice if they have been in situ for a few years. There’s no back up for landlords if tenants act the knob.
