@sligeach And in regards to your next post, yes, I don't see why this feature isn't available on mobile as well.

I have applied a patch to my extension (not rolled in to published version yet) that displays like above on both.

To use it on mobile, it would depend on browsers in use, (Quetta/Firefox that allow extensions) and if you use extensions?

An issue I have been noticing with the site for quite some time is a delay in posts loading on a page.

You read a page and it shows certain post but when you go back to it later on there are additional posts that werent there previously.

Its quite odd and extremely annoying.

    Anyone else experiencing this ?

@MisterAnarchy what device and browser in use. Any chance your re visiting a tab or page that has been refreshed in the meantime so newer posts appear. Check the timestamps of the posts to see if that is what is happening?

I use Firefox and a PC mostly Corkie.

The new posts appear before posts I have previously read, its like they are delayed appearing for me.

Are you clicking into a thread from a notification, so your opening the thread mid flow of posts.

But I have often end up at the end of page and have to scroll up to see the posts.

I have definitely noticed this for ages, can't point to exact threads or how many posts appear - but for sure i have seen posts that definitely weren't there when I first read the thread.

I think that's often the OP going back and revising or doing ninja edits.

No, the posts werent there on the first read of the page, when the page is actually being updated/created.

    From bookmarks usually.

I thought I saw something like that happening on this thread in Film forum, entire posts (#102, #103) had appeared above where I last read. Maybe it is some sort of spam filter delay.

    This is the thread:

The page bouncing has gotten worse for me. I could be reading through multiple posts in a thread and 20+ seconds later the page bounces back to the first post again. It's a real PITA.

The issue of the cursor jumping backwards in the first word of a new paragraph has never been resolved. Both these issues have been raised multiple times over the last couple of years but no one is willing to address them.

    Fire tablet using Chrome btw.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
