Well that trailer gives nothing away anyway. Any idea what it will be about?

There's more details on Digital Spy

A new series that promises to blend "genuine horror with character-driven comedy."

Mayor Tom Loftis (Matthew Rhys) is desperate to revive his struggling community. There’s no wifi, spotty cellular reception, and he must contend with superstitious locals who believe their island is cursed… Loftis is determined to build a better future for his teenage son and turn the island into a tourist destination. Miraculously, he succeeds: tourists are finally coming. "Unfortunately, the locals were right. After decades of calm, the old stories that seemed too ludicrous to be true start happening again."

Positive review from The Journal though it goes into a bit too much detail on the plot for my liking.
More for those who aren't sure whether to check it out or not than those who will.

Watched the first episode. It's passable ish

Time is contagious, everybody's getting old.

Watched the first two episodes and liked it. It's well-paced and has a nice vibe, episode run-times are fairly short, first was around 40 minutes and second 35 minutes.

Couldn't say from the first two episodes how good it is though - very enjoyable, and has promising but not something I'd class as "must see" TV at this stage.

    it’s worth watching

    Funny and a little spooky

Really enjoying this. Feels like something unique with a great little mixture of horror and comedy.

Some really great moments in there - most recently the brief shot panning around Patricia in the dance scene in which the three women are standing there mouth open.

The creator has a good looking CV too - writing for Parks & Rec and solid comedy movies like "Spy" and "The Heat".

Yeah, this is a lot of fun. Rhys, O'Flynn and Root are terrific in this. 5 eps in so far, the 5th was really funny. Rhys is really leaning into the physical comedy side of things.

Absolutely brilliant show. Great casting. Good mix of horror, comedy and creepyness.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

Only watched episode 1....but I don't think it is for me...I don't think I laughed once and I didn't find it particularly creepy/scary, Matthew Rhys is very shouty and Stephen Roots character is extremely irritating. I will say I thought Kate O'Flynn was very good in the first episode.

This is a weird show - mixing different horror tropes in to one, good few fantasy/horror shows that it seems to be borrowing from

Kinda half bored watching it, just finished the Michael Myers episode

I enjoyed it, showing my age but felt like a grown up version of Eerie, Indiana.

This is a fantastic show. Really good blend of comedy and horror, and the cast is so excellent with the way they embody the characters
