Going away during summer for 17 nights. checked out parking at Shannon and as below, roughly doubled since last time I used in 2024.

Seems very expensive, in past I have gone away before for 21 nights and has been less than 100 euro

    Anyone have any alternatives?

As an example, same dates for Knock airport is 82 euro, some cod for prices in Shannon

Anyone have any promo codes for Shannon perchance since my original post

10-12 flights per day in Knock as opposed to 40-50 for Shannon in peak months, they're hardly comparable!

I haven't heard of any codes for any airport car parks in years.

fair enough………but parking prices at each were always comparable up until this year, I have used both over last 10 years

Yes very expensive alright. Seems to be €11 per day regardless of the time of year

The airport seem to be their own worst enemy, surely parking is cheap to provide, the area is not in an area like Dublin airport with very high land values.
Furthermore the public transport links to it are far worse than Dublin airport.

If they had any interest in growing traffic through the airport they would keep parking prices as low as possible in order to encourage people to use it.

I was looking to book parking yesterday but was surprised by the 2026 pricing model, no codes seem to be around. Quite expensive and their Lounge being €50 is also quite expensive with no hot food(Comparing it to the Phoenix Lounge in T1 Dublin at €48). To no surprise the Park Inn hotel has also increased its overnight parking to €11 to match so that isn't an alternative I've used before(Once I paid for my 4 days parking at the machine in reception, went to the barrier and it was UP, could have just driven out). Still Shannon is cheaper than Dublin but seeing as their original Long term has never been developed more than changing the barriers the price creep is disappointing.

For me Green is €8 more than the Park4less which is a LONG walk. I'd pay the €8 not to walk that far. The Park4Less should be half the price. I just paid €147 for 15 days in the Clayton Dublin(incl the return bus to the Terminal) and Shannon want €88 for 8 days is not great.
