That cost per soldier is ridiculous. No wonder Ukraine can just keep cranking up drone production causing tens of thousands of casualties each month.

My money is on the yanks. Can't see anyone in Europe going for a hit like this.

Other option is Russia sank it themselves. Plausible deniability. NK obviously wanted repayment for helping against Ukraine but Russia might not want to give this sort of stuff away.

Doubt it was saw the light. More likely he's been told that he has months at best before the economic consequences of the war crystallise and accellerate. Hes boxed in and he knows it after gambling and losing and he needs to get Russia out of Ukraine as hes out of time, victory is lost for him. Time has shifted decisively in Ukraines favour expecially given recent events in Hungary while his Orange Chud has burned nearly all his own influence over his throttling of US aid.

Considering Ukraines technological innovation and advancements in Drone and Robotic Warfare as well as the deterioraring economic situation in Russia eventually conditions will turn toxic for the Vatniks. If key defence and supply sectors go bankrupt the front will run out of supplies and the front lines will get thin as the Ukriainians kill them faster than they can recruit. They cant conscript as they tried it and it backfired as people bailed out of Russia. If this happens and say they break through the southern front to the sea of Azov the Russians are done, Ukraine will isolate Crimea likely liberate the ZNPP in the process and push them out of Crimea. That areas already fuel starved from recent drone strikes on nearby refineries.

A few weeks ago I read here that the Russians were starting to lose more soldiers than they were able to replace.

    Any update on this?

Not good, Putin increasing desperate if he's forcing Belarus into this, could be the ending of Lukashenko

Sounds like bullshit, if they were going to attack Ukraine they would hardly announce it first.

Maybe they gonna attack Russia, now that would be funny.

Further info: SOURCE - The TIMES

    Above that he also says:

"Belarus already gave Russia territory for the 2022 assault on Kyiv, launched missiles from its soil, repaired Russian tanks, and treated wounded soldiers. But Putin appears to want more and is pressuring Lukashenko[Putin’s puppet] to deepen Belarus’s role in the war, Times.

Ukraine now fortifies the 1,080 km Belarus border with mines, trenches, anti-tank barriers, sensors, barbed wire, and anti-drone defenses. The Rivne crossing, once used by thousands daily, now sits behind minefields and armored patrols."

    ALSO:

"Ukraine’s border service says Belarus expands logistics hubs, training grounds, and military bases that Russia could use “at any moment.”Kyiv believes Moscow may again try to use Belarus as a launchpad for operations against Ukraine.

Potential targets of Belarus incursion include Rivne, Lutsk, and routes that carry Western weapons and ammunition from Poland into Ukraine.

Russia also deployed tactical nuclear weapons and Oreshnik ballistic missiles to Belarus.Putin threatened to use Oreshniks against Kyiv before the May 9 parade in Moscow."

Luka will do everything he can to not help Putin. He’s held out 4 years. Plus, I’d be surprised if Belarus hasn’t given most of their equipment to Russia already.

Would Poland intervene? Luka likely knows Putin is a dead man walking and won’t risk a one way trip to The Hague.

I imagine this is just the Russians leaning on Belarus to feint that they're going to do something.

If Russia actually needs Belarus to get involved they're in even bigger trouble than we think.

Lukashenko is a survivor, he'd avoid getting involved bar a metaphorical (or physical) gun to his head as it'd be the end of him. He'd swap sides in a heartbeat if that'd save him too.

Honestly I wouldnt be suprised if Luka does start making serious attempts to posture an attack force near Ukraine that Poland and others would respond by positioning their own forces near the border as a deterrence. Expecially if Ukraine were to start breaking through the southern front if the lines got weak enough to buckle and Putin start pressuring Luka to distract the Ukrainians.

Unlike 2022 though the Ukrainians have fortified and built up that border in case of a repeat. That being said its likely Luka will continue to pay lip service at most, hes hung on by playing nice but keeping clear of the conflict though after the routing of Vatnik Forces in 22.

This is Lukashenko in a nutshell, he's wily enough to have survived this long.

Belarus would only get involved if he felt that they could win and he knows that they don't have the forces to pull this off. Ukraine has been fortiftying this border for a few years now. His forces would get decimated by mines and the drones that Ukraine would aim at them. I'm sure Ukraine would happily stop aiming drones at Russia for a few days to send them Belarus way for juicer targets.

Poland would really need to be seen to be leading an operation, along with other European powers, to crush any Belarusian attack on Ukraine.

And go in heavy. This sh1tshow has to be brought to an end.

Also in other news there's a fire near an administrative building in the area around the Kremlin. Wonder if it's a drone or just a regular fire.

The mass culling of livestock in the Novosibirsk region. The head of the department in charge of the cull was found dead in his car. Officials will not be investigating his death. His wife said he died from heart failure. Media reports from there say he was found in his car, dead with a gunshot wound.

    Death loves Russia.

Heart failure from gunshot to chest. Better than heart failure from fall out window. Not as good as heart failure at birth for murdering horde.

Not The Kremlin we all know but a kremlin in the Moscow suburb of Izmailova. A kremlin is a garrison or fortification.

Former press secretary Mendel paints a poor picture of Zelensky.

Speaking in an interview with American commentator Tucker Carlson.

    That's enough!🙄

The same Iulia Mendel that also released a book thoroughly praising Zelenskyy only a few years ago?

Mendel left the job before the invasion in 2022 so no idea why anyone should care what she thinks.

Either she spoke well about Zelensky in her book earlier for money, or she is talking **** about him now for money.

europeanconservative.com has been the subject of scrutiny regarding its ties to the former Orban Hungarian government. A quick AI search states

It is currently published by a non-profit registered in Budapest, Hungary. Critics and media outlets like Euronews have highlighted that it has received significant funding and support through foundations linked to Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz party.

This has led many analysts to view it as a primary English-language mouthpiece for "Orbánism" and his former Hungarian government's political agenda in Europe.

    Try harder @engineerws
