spot on. DD could take Agit out, but if he can’t, I’d fancy Agit’s combination of fitness, power, punch variation to break DD

How about the winner of Fury Joshua? I think it’ll be Fury and that’s a great fight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,037 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Fury-Dubois be great fight. I’d lean with Fury, but he’d need to be very careful

No way wana see Usyk-Dubois 3; Usyk hammers him again. One area last night that I noticed that seems to have depleted with DD is his handspeed; slower and more laboured. Usyk really would exploit this

Dubois did basics well last night. His jab was decent rather than excellent. Is was a slow grind. It wasn’t the urgency he fought with against Joshua. He’s 28 he’s not got slower. He was pretty heavy. I think him and Fury make for a brilliant contest

fury won’t fight Dubois in my opinion

He’s posted a video tonight saying he wants Aj and then Usyk

I don't know whose regressed more between Fury and AJ but I suspect Fury.

As regards last night's fight. The reason the fight wasn't stopped by the corner was because Wardley has shown amazing powers of recovery in the past.

It wasn't nice to watch but I can understand why it wasn't stopped.

How he was left out for the tenth round I'll never now, he was gone, stumbled out of the corner and then over to the doctor who left him go on, it was well over at that point, it was madness leaving it go.

The right hand wasn't effective anymore in the latter part of the fight and thats all he had, with that gone he had no real hope, letting him go on and on taking that level of punishment in the hope of a miracle was wrong.

Wouldn't be shocked if their is a rematch clause in the AJ Fury contract so those 2 fights and Usyk is probably all we will get from him before he genuinely retires IMO.

I’m sure Frank said there is a rematch but that depends how the fight goes

Both men are on the end of their careers and either could retire at anytime really, it’s very easy to get injured at this stage

It's all about paydays and limelight with AJ and Fury; both clearly past their best.

I wont believe those two jokers until they’re doing the ringwalks.

I’d say Wardley’s face is in some shape today. It was very naive of him to think that the big swing haymaker would be good enough. In the 3rd I was very surprised Wardley didn’t jump on Dubois after him taking the knee. He didn’t really bring the heat. Dubois just had to be switched on and basic and that pulverised Wardley. He didn’t show much learning.

Yes, a real finisher/killer would have piled on offensive heat right after second KD; Wardley seemed content to do very little

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,486 ✭✭✭squinn2912

Right, time to park Dubois wardley. ..

so Hrgovic snubbed Allens handshake. What we thinking for this one? Heroic should have far too much but David Adalye wobbled him so Allen has a chance

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,701 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

I don’t think he snubbed it from the quick clip I saw, it looked like hrgovic was already turning to face forward

Dave has a huge problem with confidence and he crapped his pants for makhmudov and didn’t trust his gas tank, I think if he just lets his hands go and really goes for it then it will help his chances, hrgovic is a tough man but can be broken as any boxer

I hope dave wins just to throw a spanner in the works because I think frank wants to announce Itouma v hrgovic straight after the fight

Dave said if he fights well he would like the fury fight which would be a good laugh and a huge pay day

Be nice to see Allen go well but I think this is as close as hell get to bigtime. He’s been in with some decent fighters.

Don’t see Wardley winning the rematch. Dubois has to start better and then very basic skills win it in similar fashion. He might push for a finish and get caught but I think he’s possibly the worst match up for Wardley

Allen won’t last long tonight I think..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,486 ✭✭✭squinn2912

for all the silly talk he doesn’t look at all fit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,037 ✭✭✭✭walshb

DD is a whisker away from getting stopped/dropped.. if he had proper solid chin I’d back him 100 percent, because he has far more offensive capabilities than Wardley

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,701 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

he’s never going to be body beautiful he just trained and lost 2 stone, he’s normally fat as a pig and now he’s just fat as a piglet lol

Hrgovic looks very trim. If he’s on it he really should destroy Allen

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,486 ✭✭✭squinn2912

Ok Dave does look a bit trimmer. I’d like to see him at least do well. Give it a hell of a go. I fear a walk away about round 4.
