It's like the old days with the horns going in the crowd.

    Galway dominating midfield early

Looked like Ros had weathered the storm, Galway get a few twos, and beginning to pull away.

Two goals in a minute for Roscommon

    F*cking hell

    And another Galway two!

    Awful shooting from Galway

This is very impressive from the Rossies !

Galway look very one paced and obsessed by two pointers which will be hard got against the breeze second half.
if the Rossies kick second half like they did against Mayo it could be a similar outcome .

    If………

    funny atmosphere at this game

Enjoyable first half, it's flown by.

The near wing seems to be a weak point for Galway. Ros keeper kicks out to the left, left half draws the foul, plays it quickly and Ros are in the Galway box getting something.

    This too shall pass.

Galway in real trouble now. You'd expect Roscommon to up the gears now with this wind. Galway having to run the ball but without a very pacey middle 8.

Too heavily reliant on 2 pointers. They'll need 2 goals to stay in this 2nd half.

No idea how Galway can go with a CB who hasn't played any football at CB all year. Major advantage to Roscommon.

Flaherty at 10 has been awful. Need to bring in Shane McGrath.

    Colm Cooper calling Galway lazy.

    Roscommon nearly walked that in

What happens if it's level at the hooter?

    This too shall pass.

Roscommon always seem to have giant men in their side for as long as I have watched football

Brilliant from Comer, hard to see a way back, Cooper did say playing against the wind would suit Galway.

Extra time. But a replay if it's level after extra time.

Extra time and if level after extra time it goes to a replay.

Maher has put in some shift.

    And suddenly Roscommon lead.

Dreadful from Galway since their goal. 8 points without reply for Roscommon since.

    Roscommon have done it

Shocking to ship 8 unanswered points with the match there for the taking. Galway wont cause any issue for any team this year

Joyce will have to produce some back door miracle otherwise he's out.

    This too shall pass.

Big question marks for Galway management. Molloy has been miles off it all year, they decide to put him at centre back. Flaherty the same, O Laoi a huge influence when he came in. Roche wasn't seen all year then thrown into a connaught final. Crazy decisions.

Joe Brolly should get a good article out of that . He can just switch Galway for Mayo in the article he wrote about being over reliant on older players, no kickout strategy etc etc .

Got to love the way Roscommon play football. Really enjoyable to watch.

You'd get Arteta vibes off Joyce, although ironically one of them might break their duck this season yet.

They've Kildare at home so could go on a run if they get another handy draw.
