    These are usually my guilty pleasure movies but I didn’t love this one. I can usually recalibrate my expectations to below ground level to enjoy objectively poor popcorn movie stuff but I think you need crazy special effects and some memorable scene moments to compensate for the limited to non existent “this makes sense” calories.

    I found maybe just enough in the first Greenland movie to find it passable but just didn’t find this having as much “end of world sh*t is gonna get real” moments.

    And I can watch the movie 2012 every couple of years (not entirely focus on it but have it on in backround and focus when catastrophes unfold every 10 mins), so you can see I can really lower the bar.

    Yeah it was pretty useless, I didn't mind the first one at all.

    The first one managed to be quite fun, whereas this one is awfully grim, while also being quite silly… it's hard to square those two things. Needed a bit more cheese if its gonna be this stupid, or else better story if it's gonna be this grim.
