    Does anyone else with a Pixel 10 have problems with Sky Go? The picture freezes after a few seconds when watching a live stream. I don't have this problem on any other apps and it worked perfectly on my Pixel 8 Pro.

    Heading away on holiday next week and had intended buying a Pixel 10 Pro for the camera. Was going to pull the trigger on the Pixel Pro 10 256gb directly from the Google Store, but they've just increased the price by €220, must have been a special offer they had on over Easter.

    Has anyone seen any deals on a Pixel 10 Pro 256gb anywhere?

    Also, what's the story with those stores on Adverts who seem to have Pixels much cheaper than anywhere else? They must be legit given the amount of good reviews, but are the phones imported from somewhere else, or how are they selling them so cheaply? Thanks!

    I got my Pixel 7 Pro from one of those places, it was actually a store in Naas that uses adverts. ZTech I think it is. Phone was new in box and I had no issues at all with it. Guy in the store was really helpful and knew his stuff. They had a good selection of phones at the time. (this was my experience with that specific store, I can't say the same for all of them)

    I think they buy them cheap when on sale, or from other EU countries and then sell them here. I can't be sure but that is the only way I can see it works.

    My 10 Pro is the same. I'm running Android 17 Beta so assumed it's something going on with that.

    I noticed in the last week I am ending the day with about 30% less than in the previous month.

    I got a nice surprise this week. My free 5TB Gemini trial from my previous Samsung had just ended, so I signed up for the 2TB plan for €99

    Then I got a message saying I qualified for another year of the 5TB as it came with the Pixel 10!

    I was refunded €95 for the 2TB plan and upgraded back to the 5TB which has more advanced Gemini

    Nice one google

    If you can use the UK google store they offer far better trade ins, looking at my own pixel 8 they are offering me £220 Vs €135

    Currently looking at £579 Vs €784 when all is said and done for the 256GB model if I can be tempted to bounce up to the Oohpod parcel lockers in Northern Ireland

    Pixel 11 will be released in August if you can wait. Going by recent years they should offer a trade-in boost at launch

    That might be the best move yes. Amazon as well usually have a good deal on them around August. Plus with beach holidays and festivals in June/July it just makes sense to wait

    Haven't noticed any issues with battery life on my 10 Pro XL. Mostly only charge to 80% and plug in at 30. Get through a normal day at that and plug in overnight. Day of heavy use I'll top up in evening or in car on drive. If I know I'm out all day and not able to charge I'll go to 100%.

    Looks very good, considering it. I'm waiting for Garmin Cirqiq to decide though. Deep in Garmin Connect system for years so would prefer to keep data in same place. It may be much dearer though. Will wait for DC rainmaker review to decide.

    Like the form factor, I wear nornal watches the whole time on left wrist and rotate so want a band to wear on right. I do have a Garmin band I wear sometimes but it is a little bulky. I have an Garmin Instinct I put on when training properly.

    I have a Garmin Forerunner 4S watch that I love and suits my needs. I'm not sure what value a smart strap would add to be honest.

    The only thing I can think of for me is I wont have to wear my watch at night and still get all the sleep tracking

    I’m very tempted for that reason alone at the price

    I ordered one last night. I have a smart watch but dont wear it in bed. This looks to have a nice form factor so hopefully I get used to it.
    I'm trying to understand what I get without the subscription.

    I keep getting an offer for 35% off a Pixel 10… so it comes down to €594, then about €120 for a trade in on my Pixel 8… I don't really want to spend the money, but know that I need to upgrade occassionally or I'll end up spending a lot more…

    Is it worth it? Do I just go for the 10A instead? Do I keep my 8 until it dies?

    I've been getting the same promo. I have the 8 pro and the battery is gone to crap. Minimum charging twice a day. For that reason I'm looking at the One Plus 15. I like the R for couple of hundred cheaper but the camera is a big downgrade.
