Old Hard Drive Data Recovery

    Hi,

I have an old hard drive from a previous computer that I’d like to access to check what files are still on it, mainly some old photographs.

    Make/Model: WD2500AAJS-60B4A0

I found this drive information here:

    Visit now: https://www.compudevices.com/wd2500aajs-60b4a0-western-digital-caviar-blue-250gb-7200rpm-sata-3gb-s-8mb-cache-3-5-inch-internal-hard-disk-drive

What would be the easiest and most affordable way to connect and browse the drive contents? I’ve seen external enclosures and SATA-to-USB adapters online, but I’m not sure whether they are universal or manufacturer-specific.

I’m not looking to spend too much since I only need to recover a few files if possible.

    Thanks in advance.

    Standard SATA connection
    adapter or enclosure will work
Also can connect to another computer internally, if avail for SATA data and SATA power connections as second drive or instead CD/DVD drive

Note: if computer that drive came out from had bitlocker enabled, disk will be locked and wont be accessible without recovery key, internally or externally
