    Right wing?

I find the Irish subreddits to be absolutely full of lefty student union types.

I think there are more than a few posters on there who genuinely believe that Simon Harris literally eats babies and that Michael Martin's favourite hobby is laughing at poor people.

Quite. There's an endless amount of anti-Dublin bollox posted on Boards.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra
I'm raptured by the joy of it all

Going back to the question of whether forums will come back some bit.

You know with the growing presence of bots and AI on Reddit I can easily see people go back to smaller more curated forums.

They estimate 50% of Reddit is bot activity, frankly I think it's way more. It's crazy how rotten some of the subs are. Lots of users are so frustrated with it and even some real people are classed as bots just because they have a different opinion to someone.

What's more, Reddit knows well about this activity and is happy let it continue as it makes the place appear extremely active and relevant so no chance of that being clamped down on.

I wonder for instance on boards what would be some ways to make sure a user is real? Id rather go offline than use ID verification.

Perhaps a once a week captcha check? Can the new forms be passed by any AI now?

100% better. All reddit has over it now is the popularlity.

The yanks absolutely kill reddit for me.

I reckon classic style internet forums just don't really lend themselves to bot usage as much as something like reddit (thank feck!)

What bot posting on reddit seems to do is to create new threads with recycled content and engagement baiting type titles to get clicks.

I'm sure there are bots that could run here but I'm not sure it's really valuable to the people running them and they'd probably be a lot easier to spot.
