I see the new entrance to the Higgins site is now closed and taped off is there an issue there, they installed new filter lights and trucks were using it up to a few days ago.

Taped off? I would guess it is probably just an access issue within the site itself?

There are multiple entry points for the site and the machines have been "pile driving/knocking" since 007h00 this morning.

Concrete Kerbing is finished on the Mount Pleasant Drive section and this green triangle area between Mount Pleasant Drive and the Rahoon Road is graveled over now within the Higgins Site itself

Are the gates visible in the dark? Coloured tape can be used for visiblity.. otherwise drivers will plonk the cars into the gate

I walked past that specific spot today - there is a big hole the other side of the gate. The tape is just a visual indicator to tell em to go around to another access point

Should be 100%. A big 4meter by 2 meter strapped onto the closed gate would do the trick. ha ha

The GATE here is set back from the road opposite the Bothar Le Cheile lights and is somewhat blocked by hoarding - so that's why they have cones and tape near the footpath. Well maintained by Irish standards IMHO

A fella was powerwashing truck wheels leaving the site this morning from the entrance near the "Salthill" electrical substation near the Rahoon Road junction
