Jury service

Been called for jury service and have a valid reason to be excused. I returned the letter (within the 14 days). Will they acknowledge/confirm I've been excused? There is a phone number on the letter but it's a recorded announcement with no option to leave a message.

Hi yes I was excused recently and it was by email but a couple of weeks after I had submitted the excusal request.

Received confirmation this morning that I'm excused
