And yet he's done very little wrong. That howler there and maybe a handful of other mistakes but bar that he's been exceptionally solid for a young signing thrown into the intense glare of being United's No1. I don't see anyone saying he's the best in the world or anything outrageous but for a first season he's been more than satisfactory.

But there's absolutely a rumbling amongst certain supporters that he's not good enough and when they start saying why they usually end up sounding ridiculous.

I'm sitting beside one here that reckons lammens should be diving on that near point blank decent save that he made with his foot. Like how do ya argue with that.

There is a long enough track record to show Ugarte isn't good enough to be a PL midfielder, and Bruno's best position is not midfield. Our midfield options are really poor but we're much more likely to score with Casemiro, Bruno and Mainoo on the pitch.
