Definitely helps, he has used it well.

We should be giving Rice a rest too. Another big game on Tuesday and he's played far too much football.

Only 4 penalties has Gyok! No hat trick but what a game he played.

Yep Zubimendi just on for him and Jesus on for Gyokeres.

Lucic should be off for a second yellow.

By the letter of the law he should have been. Easily a yellow on its own.

Sesko has been fairly decent too in fairness when fit.

But I agree I've made the point multiple times throughout the season that we weren't playing to his strengths and almost in spite of that has 21 goals in all competitions. Today and midweek were the first games when the team started doing it properly instead of haphazardly.

The poor performances of our wide players in the latter half of the season hasn't helped him either.

The team looked so much more fluid with Calafiori in it. Imagine how much better it'll be with Timber back in.

Good substitutions tonight too. Players needed for Tuesday.

Was just typing another few goals would be nice, maybe send Dowman on. Let's see what he can do here.

    Almost a fourth. Unlucky Leno

I guess that goes down as a save for Leno?

    A fourth would be nice.

Another goal or two would have been nice for GD but that’s a super result and performance and we were in a position to take players off early as a bonus.
I wonder will the city players and fans still be so cocky now? It’s up for grabs now…

Pity not to score more but Arteta played that perfectly.

2nd half showed massive difference between Saka/Gyokeres and Madueke/Jesus

Best thing about points on the board for us with MC having 2 games still to play, is that they can't afford to slip up. Pressure now back on the cheaters.

Was a strange second half for me. Was half stressed out towards the end incase we conceded. But pre match id have gladly taken a 3 nil win. Puts some pressure on Man City now. Unfortunately they do well with pressure, but with goal difference maybe being a factor down the line its all to play for.

Simeone rested all 11 players who started the first leg in their match!

Well, the luxury of being absolutely miles off the pace in Atletico's case.

Been a long while since there was such a low stress game. Night and day the experience compared to the Newcastle game. I'd forgotten what it felt like to enjoy an Arsenal game.

Hopefully it'll be the tonic needed for Tuesday.

Officially the most wins in a season, in the clubs history. Hopefully another 5 wins on top of that. 💪

I was there today with my boys, my hubby stayed home fo a change. It was awesome. The atmosphere was better than any other game and the bonus of my boys being of legal age to drink meant we really got into the spirit.

Isn’t it amazing what a fit Saka and Trossard make to this team. Calafiori too. The 49 Lewis Skelly song must have been sang by every person in the ground, it was spine tingling!

What a day. Back in the hotel now, a few more drinks and then match of the day. A cherry on top, so to speak! COYG!

As I said previously, calafiori makes so much of a difference to us going forward. We really have missed him and timber being fit this year.
