    I'm really struggling to get into F1 this year.

    The familiar surrounds of Montreal should help because this Miami track is so forgettable.

    Rain Hazard officially declared by the FIA for tomorrows race.

    The immediate impact of this is cars do not enter Parc Ferme after qualifying, so teams can make aero adjustments for wet weather after qualifying.

    Fairly large thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow, rumours of FIA looking to move the race start time earlier to avoid. In Florida (I think all of the US too, not sure), any lighting is an immediate postponement of sporting events for spectator safety, with a minimum of 30 minutes of no lighting before an event can resume.

    the sprint looked exactly like what was supposed to happen with the tweaks to the reg’s.

    No yo-yo passes, and as it’s Miami, we’re back to last year with no passes at all.

    I watch every minute of F1 but after 5 weeks off I really struggled with that - searching for nuggets of positivity down the order.

    The most positive things we’ve seen this week are the apparent neutering of the top teams into being competitive, and also alpines huge progress.

    Bortoleto makes it out with a couple of minutes left of Q1 to Crofty, saying "Vorsprung durch technik of time"

    I cringe at some of his stuff, but I like that.

    Verstappen sets a great Q1 time and Antonelli beats it by just under half a second.

    Russell still struggling.

    2 Audi engines gone in the space of a couple of hours. Not been a great day for them.

    You’re all probably asleep, but the start time has been moved forward 3 hours…

    This is to reduce the chance of lighting strikes near the circuit, but it could still be a wet race.

    Max and LeClerc to overtake Anto at the start, would really liven the race up with both of them ahead of the chasing pack. Starting at 6pm for us is nice also. The weather could make it very interesting. I doubt it will be a boring race.
