hi all. We have 4 of these old robus sword 16w t4 linkable strip-lights (for kitchen counter) and one blew. Now every shop i go to says they’re discontinued.

So whats the best thing to do? Can i buy a LED version and replace them all using the existing wiring/fitting or will we need an electrician to install the new ones from scratch if i buy the LED versions?

Any photos? Just fitted a few 14w LED versions in my kitchen and the connector looks the same as the old ones. They do a few different lengths ( with different wattages) Very happy with mine.

Hello @DRedSky! I have the same problem. Which one did you end up buying, and did it work with the same wiring/fitting? Thanks

hi, in the end i got the LED versions (same brand and size etc) which were pretty cheap and rang a sparks who fitted it for me very cheaply. He did it in no time and cost very little, i chickened out of doing it myself.

Little bit brighter than the old ones but other than that all good.

Old one perched on top of old one, (bottom of cabinet), but new plug required which comes with short length of cable has to be connected in, light is brighter than T4.
