Has anyone ever had any issues?

My rear outer lamp got a crack and took in moisture so had to replace it for the NCT and I’ve tried fitting a lamp I got on Autodoc and it just doesn’t fit in flush.

I used the part number (63217376464) to get the lamp and it looks the exact same but just can’t get it in flush. There nothing to adjust the fitting. The old light fits like a glove, maybe the new one being generic is why but I would’ve thought they’d be identical.

Looking at pictures of the part number you posted there appear to be 2 adjusters to move the lamp inwards or outwards

Top and bottom on the right hand side of this picture, screw them out to let the lamp sit in further

Thanks, I see them and they are adjustable. I’ll play with them tomorrow and see.

OEM parts only for lights or body panels, anything else never fits correctly

"OEM" can be a broad definition though. I'd have no problem with a Hella or Valeo branded light for a specific car, because even though it hasn't got the OEM logo on it, they're almost certainly not in the business of making aftermarket parts, and will have been the original Tier 1 for the branded product, so have all the correct CAD from the outset.
