needs a bird or weekend off

He got the birdie on 17 but bogies 18 to finish on E. Cut is currently at -1 so needs that to go out to play the weekend.

He just doesn't seem to like the last hole on most courses!

It really seems to struggle to finish a round. It’s probably cost him a small fortune over the years

    Playing next week.

Then he'll be lucky to play about 3 events between the rest of April until the first week of July

Seamus in the field for the Valero Texas Open this week. I think this will be his week!

Typical round for Seamie. -2 after 8 which includes a bogey on par 5

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,120 ✭✭✭Trampas

    +1 on par 5’s

-1 not terrible but lots of pressure to make the cut tomorrow

Double bogey to start day 2, 3 outside the cut line now 🫠

Wants to get home for Easter

Shooting level par for par 5’s on a course that’s had four of them a round isn’t going to put food on the table

On the timesheet next week I’m New Orleans. Hopefully gets someone he can dovetail with

He is paired up with Matti Schmid

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,283 ✭✭✭billy3sheets

Seamus and Matthias Schmid three shots off the lead following a second-round 68 to lie on -13.

Seemed to gel quite well in the Foursomes yesterday. Both big hitters, particularly Schmid. Seem to be draining a few long putts between them.

Going very well today so far.

    Top 10...nice

The winners pocketed €1,170,636 each, while Power and Schmid both went home with cheques for €95,935 each.

Power now sits 100th in the projected FedEx Cup standings, a strong start to the season for the 39-year-old, who is looking to bounce back from a lackluster 2025.

    Not a bad week's work.

Great win for the Fitzpatrick brothers. Alex gets a 2 year PGA exemption.

    Another shocking weekend for seamie

He had a bad front 9 with +4 but 3 birdies on back to finish +1 for the day. Not great but I think a lot found the front 9 tough. He's near the bottom of the field though.

Big week for Seamus. A weak field so plenty of points on offer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,283 ✭✭✭billy3sheets

-5 for his round in the Byron Nelson today to lie 9th with a bunch of others currently. 1 bogey and 6 birdies, including on 18th. Conditions were benign.

Flat back 9 for level par.

Lying -11 and joint 10th with 3 others. Great day's work.

He shot 2 shots worse than the world number 1 - you might need to adjust your expectations for a guy who has barely made a cut in 3 years!
