Gillane meant to be out with a calf injury. I'll only believe it when he doesnt take to the field on Sunday!

If its true, I wish him a speedy recovery as he is a fantastic player

I presume he is still dropped. Ben clearly doesn't fancy him.

Looks like hes out for the game at the Supervalu on Sunday. Big loss for them and a boost for us. Still a 50 50 for me though

Footballers pulling away in the 2nd half. Yet another injury for Brian Hurley, hopefully not serious

A fairly convincing scoreline in the end, 4-18 v 1-12

We turned it on eventually in fairness. We've waited six years to have our revenge on Tipperary for that 2020 Munster Final. Let's have a right good crack at beating down in Killarney now.

It unbelievable we haven't beaten them in the championship down there in what is now approaching thirty one years. Fourteen years is too long with a Munster title in football as well.

nice little trip to thurles ill be honest, weather was stunning

id love to know why colm o callaghan didn’t start - the game changed when he came on, we’re far too dependent on him!

I was next to the Cork stats team and heard them say at one stage we lost 7 of our own kickouts - micheal martin struggled big time again imo, we need to fix this or Kerry will hockey us

Ladies football Munster semi final, Cork 0-4 Tipperary 0-6 HT. not sure why but really low scoring on an evening like this

Hopefully Dara Sheedy will be available for the Kerry game, we need him.

4-18 was good scoring after not scoring for first 17 minutes.

Just give Kerry a game and least be in it with 10 minutes to go. Anything more will be bonus.

Get away out of that. If we're in it with 10 minutes to go which I expect to be anything short of a win will be disappointing.

Not really,, the expected result would be a Kerry win ,, stronger teams tend to win in tough games later on,as aboo, push them to tend of the game wouldn't be a bad situation.

id have no fear of cork against kerry this year , ye can raise the game against them where the rest of us fall over regardless of how good or bad ye are going , i wouldnt be surprised if ye beat them

looking forward to the hurling tomorrow , just to watch as a nutral its a great rivalary that has developed between the two sides the last few years , i am massivley intrested to see how barry walsh and duds healy do at championship level against this limerick side , if you think back to the league game only half the starting team tomorrow roughthly started that night

walsh was a stand out that night , that has to be a worry for limerick , and duds now offers a huge outlet from puck outs too

Looking forward to it, could be a real cracker. Hopefully it ends 15 v 15. I'm expecting a high scoring game. The clouds will hopefully burn off and we will see the sun too.

    that was sweet!

Another classic between ourselves and Limerick. Cian Lynch getting himself sent off due to his own stupidity was a turning point, but that's two wins from two in what would be on paper our toughest games in the group. One more win and even a draw down in Walsh Park against Waterford should be enough to get out of the group now, but that was a sweet win indeed.

There was one poster on a certain other site (and an absolute clown he is at that) writing our obituary after the league final.😁 He said Ben O'Connor was getting the training all wrong as well apparently! Oh it's just a brilliant evening indeed Up Cork!

Few negatives to get out of the way. Really slow start against limerick again and never put them away despite the extra man and no Gillane. Would’ve been damaging to have let the win slip. Puck outs continue to be an issue.

Couple of the players who were poor in the league final stepped up like Fitzgibbon and Connolly. Didn’t give in after a really poor start. All that matters this time of the year is the points and beating Limerick is always welcome. Really good shot at getting to the Munster final now.

What a lovely victory !!! Always nice to beat Limerick in hte championship and the first time I think that we have won our first two games. A fair few issues, gave them a 7 point at the start, several players not performing as well as we would hope, several injuries that may have an impact in our season but a win is a win !!

Great win. I felt we grew more and more into the game too. Loss of Gillane and sending off helped but thought we have another gear in us too plus both sides missed some bad points but Cork blew 2 goal chances.

Thoght Rob Downey was sensational. I fairness credit where its due Connolly was much better today.

To say that I was disappointed with Collins’ effort for the Limerick goal would be putting in mildly
