    Hi all,

Just wondering about a few things regarding the Philips OLED TVs.

-Do you have display units of the 910 and/or 950?

-If I was still to buy a 2.1 soundbar(I'm a sound tech so do like decent audio), does it really not make sense to consider the 910? Is the soundbar on the 910 and the 4sided ambilight on the 950 the only real difference between the two?

-Do you have any insight on timeframe regarding possible price drops considering Philips just announced their 2026 TV lineup? I'm not interested on the newest of newest things, so would be content with either of the above, just wondering if I could wait for a better price.

Thanks a lot for your time.

    Hi LeakingLava.

    Thanks for the post.

Unfortunately we do not have either of those Philips OLED on display here at the store.

The main differences between the two would be the following Key Differences:
Audio System: The OLED910 features an integrated 3.1 channel Bowers & Wilkins sound system (81W). The OLED950 lacks this high-powered B&W system, opting for a 70W 2.1 system, making it better suited for users with external sound systems.

Processor: The OLED950 utilizes a Dual Engine 9th Gen P5 AI processor, promising superior AI adaptive gamut enhancement and HDR handling, whereas the OLED910 uses a single 9th Gen P5 AI processor.

I wouldn't know if or when there might be any further reduction on these televisions.
The OLED951 is not due until September, so its still 7 months away.
for the OLED911 is will be around June time before it is released.

    Hi Kenny,

Looking to pull the trigger on the 950 and a set of soundbar that would work with the 950(one remote?) in the next few weeks. Could you please advise what the procedure is to order? Thanks.

    Hey LeakingLava.

Juat drop me a little me when you are ready.

At the moment the sterling is the better deal on the 77OLED950.
Once purchased we also affer a 14 day price promise, where if the price reduces within this period you can drop us a call or message and we will refund back any qualifying amount.

For a soundbar, I would look at the Sonos Beam.
You Philips remote will control its volume and it packs a punch without a subwoofer.
You can also add a sub down the line if required.

Any questions please let me know.

    Hey Kenny,

Thanks a lot for the info. I would be getting the 65, but yes, will probably go for the sterling.

Would you say the sonos beam would he comparable to a 2.1 system, such as the Philips tab6309? I don't mind having a subwoofer as we don't have space issues, so would probably want to get it now rather than as an add on later. With this in mind, I feel then that the Beam + Sub could be too far out of budget so that's also one aspect to consider for me.

With the soundbars, are there just specific soundbars that work with the same remote as the TV? To be honest, when looking, I was trying to stick to Philips branded ones as I thought that's what would be best for compatibility. I wouldn't mind other brands either if there is one somewhere in between the Beam and the tab6309 that could still be used with the same remote as TV.

    Hi LeakingLava.

The 65OLED950 is coming in at £1799 which is the better deal over the Euro pricing.
Again this includes our VIP 6 year guarantee free of charge.
Stock levels are getting low on the 65" in our main warehouse but hopefully will be enough to see through next week.
(The main warehouse stock is accessed by all of the Richersounds store and both ,com and .ie website)

The TAB6309 is decent enough and will enhance the sound from the TV speakers.
It is however currently out of stock.

I would check out the Denon DHTS416 which is only a little more expensive but will sound much better.
There is a discount code listed on our website that reduces this down to £279

If you wanted to to get one that decodes Atmos then check out the Samsung Q600F
I could offer this one at £349

    Hi Kenny,

Thanks again for all your time.

I was browsing your site and it seems like this soundbar is a great deal with the RSTV code.

Richer Sounds Ireland - Samsung HWQS750F

Is it just a straight up upgrade to the Q600F you suggested? If so, I will probably take this one. Do you know until when the RSTV code sales are? If it's finishing up, I can just pay for this already and maybe you can hold delivery until I also purchase the TV?

Thanks for getting back to us LeakingLava. Kenny is on leave so I hope you don't mind me replying on his behalf.

The HWQS750F is a upgrade over the HWQ600F - it contains wireless rears which gives a much better surround experience than the HWQ600F. It also has more channels in the main bar as well so it's a beefier sound.

The expiry on that voucher is listed as May 12th.

Please don't hesitate to drop us a post if you'd like to go ahead with one of those.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi David ,

Thanks for getting back to me. I presume the 750 can also work with the TV remote so I don't have to end up using 2 remotes?

Could you please PM me with the next steps? I should be okay to go ahead with this tomorrow. Slightly concerned of the aforementioned stock levels.

    Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me LeakingLava.

You can use the TVs remote to control volume provided it's an IR remote but the manual says that this is possible with a Philips TV.

Id you wany to go for the soundbar the easiest way is to order via the link below and we have a few in the warehouse ready to ship:

    Hi all,

Received this yesterday, well ahead of schedule Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.

I just want to ask. There is damage on the box. I won't be able to test until Friday. Do I need to be concerned regarding returns if there was issues?

    Hi LeakingLava.

Hopefully those little tears have not went through the card board and if they have the packaging inside should have done its job and protected the product.

I would say there is nothing to worry about but on Friday when you get things opened if there are any issues at all please let me know straight away.

    Keep me posted.
