Racing Post preview is out on Monday.

Reminder to self to avoid Bolton is already fading when I see 11/1.

A few of us on Stockport so for League 1, i have backed in outright and handicap markets.

League 2 i have Chesterfield outright and Barnet in the handicap market.

Main bet for the year Jean Phillipe Mateta (Palace) to score 15 or more goals in PL at 5/2 and to score 20 or more 20/1.

the 5/2 is a savage price in my opinion. got 18 last year, kept their good players in transfer window (so far) Should be on penalties. Get ON!!

I think I'll put a 10er a week on Spain for the world cup from now until the summer @ 9/2 . Should have a tidy bet on by the start of the tournament.

Just looking back at the pre-season odds, and who's top currently.

Coventry were 12/1, Lincoln were 30/1 and Bromley were 100/1, although the 53% of people who backed MK Dons as 7/2 favourites will be hoping that the Bromley players are on the lash, having secured promotion already. A 2 point gap in that league. Otherwise its a 40,000+/1 treble there, and lots of wealthy bookies!

@Loafing Oaf If there was a post to hit, you'd hit it. Unbelievably close :(

I presume this means Chesterfield go up, as Rangers are cooked.

Well thanks but I gave up on most of those long ago becasuse the league 1 top2s were such a flop. league 2 playoffs seems a bit of a 4-way tossup but fingers crossed for chesterfield
