This is why Trump is in a hurry to get back to the Moon.

That's one small step for man, one giant hole for those files.

I find all the democrat led channels are stooping to this clickbait headline stuff with AI images of whoever the vid is about in a fake shocked face or something. Really cringe stuff have unsubbed from a lot of it as they move towards simply being the other side of the coin but just as full of ****. Tiresome stuff, trying to detach from it all TBH.

I think people are underestimating the damage that has been caused. It won't be evident for a year or two. But we just witnessed the death of the Petrodollar. That was built on providing security for the Gulf states and their oil and Trump just proved that they can't. Those countries have already started dealing with the likes of Ukraine to advise and supply security. China have already made statements about increasing co-operation with the GCC, which is code for paying in Yuan. Europe is in talks about providing protection for fuel on its way from the ME.

Brazil and China are now trading with one another outside the dollar. Europe will follow. Canada is mid pivot. Australia too. Europe is accelerating preparations for NATO without America.

As much as any Admin might want to roll back the damage, the horse has bolted. The world will no longer dance to Americas tune. All these military bases will become less interesting. The T bonds less desirable, the free money that America lived and thrived on will be gone. Other stock markets will start getting a more equal share.

Trump bankrupt every business he ever touched. And hes just done the same to America

Trump has also managed to become 2x POTUS and has seen his personal fortune substantially increase. From a personal point of view, he'll be happy with that return.

And stretch of road in Florida, and the airport in Florida.

I wonder if he'll get his arch built before he kicks the bucket

I never really understand guys Trump's age chasing the next few miilion. Surely in terms of lifestyle he's already got everything material he could ever want…

I'm waiting for the day that some U.S citizen delivers the world from the misery of the 47th. It's not as if his latest display of incompetence has not given the U.S good reason to get rid of him permanently, the damage he's done to the global world of commerce is enough to do so.

Not saying he's similar to Trump in any other way but I once saw Warren Buffet (who lives a very modest lifestyle considering his vast wealth) quoted as saying he didn't care about the purchasing power of the fortune he'd amassed, it was just a score card to him.

Trump's a very competitive guy and he's been a loser his whole life: multiple bankruptcies, calamitous business dealings, until he became president and started accumulating billions in bribes, he'd have been far, far richer had he simply played golf and left his inherited wealth invested in index funds.

As his legendary cheating at golf demonstrates, he's the definition of a sore loser and now that he's "winning" he's not going to let go of it willingly.

I once read a quote which said "Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich".

Trump's death wouldn't do that much to rid the US of the pandora's box he's opened. He'll still very much exist as a symbol and rallying point, regardless of whether he's living or dead.

Best case scenario I can see at this point is that the US continues to lurch back and forth between MAGA and staid centrism. The centrists may take Trump's name down, but MAGA will stick it back on.

It feels like there's something uniquely cursed about the fact that it took an American Pope to come out with this stuff.

I agree, that's one of the reasons I consider Trump to be the greatest moron ever to be elected as President of the US in recent times ( not once but twice! ). ....An irredeemable cretinous fool.

I just googled "Worst US President" and Google spat out James Buchanan as the leading contender among historians (it says). He failed to prevent the civil war. Mad that we've to go back over 150 years to find someone as bad as the current incumbent.

That's why the ideal outcome would be public humiliation and his utter abject failure highlighted in a way that's undeniable along with the extensive damage he has been responsible for made public rather than forgotten about and moved on from

I Listened to the mind blowing bullology and hectoring tones from Mr Hegseth and Co this lunchtime with rising anger. Who the hell are these stern male voices ordering shipping on the Strait to do what it’s told …or else.

Trump has said the US doesn’t need oil. It has all it needs. Go home then military US. Butt out of the oil fields of the rest of the world.

Trump has said the US doesn’t need Europe. Go home military US from Europe so. The bases have just become targets, making innocent Europeans targets. .

Go home military US from the Middle East. It has enough hotels without you. You’ve lost the petrodollar bonus all by yourself and you can’t boss it back.

Trump and the US is currently enabling the murderous Israeli regime and that enabling needs to stop.

Go home military US from Gaza - it’s not yours to develop but for sure the cost of repairing will be down to You

We’ve suffered years and years of watching the daily bombing of people , their lives, their homes and their facilities destroyed in Ukraine and in the Middle east - all facilitated by the US.

    Enough is enough.

The self appointed world policeman and arms supplier has gone feral and needs to be fired.

I suspect that there's an awful lot of debt involved.

I'm interested in the psychology of the current US government in that their pentagon actually saw fit to make a cryptic threat to the Vatican as if the Vatican even matters to what they do. Leo's hardly the first pope to speak out against US foreign policy and while previous US administrations might have disagreed with Papal opinions, that's about it. They'd just shrug it off and get on with things.

The 🍊💩 and his despicable minions are completely batshit crazy,

Pete Hegseth just prayed over the Iran war. He used the fake Bible verse from Pulp Fiction.

At the Pentagon's monthly worship service yesterday, the Secretary of Defense stood up, told military leaders what they hear in worship should "inform" their war decisions, and then read a prayer calling for "great vengeance and furious anger" on Iran. He said the prayer was called "CSAR 2517," standing for Combat Search And Rescue, and was based on Ezekiel 25:17.

    It wasn't.

It was from Pulp Fiction. Specifically, it was the speech Samuel L. Jackson's character recites before executing an unarmed man. Tarantino wrote those lines himself.

They are not in any Bible. They are in a Quentin Tarantino movie. The actual Ezekiel 25:17 has one sentence. The rest, including "the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men," was invented for a 1994 film about hit men eating hamburgers.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

The Secretary of War read a fictional hit man's execution speech to bless an actual war.

And then he said this: "Fifteen minutes ago I was talking about blockades with Admiral Cooper, and now we're going to study the Lord's word. May what we talk about, how we worship today, inform the remainder of our day and the remainder of our week."

The man coordinating a naval blockade and potential strikes on Iran is citing Bible verses that don't exist. From a movie. To bless a war that has killed more than a thousand people and threatens to starve millions more.

Pope Leo responded to Hegseth's earlier violent prayers on Palm Sunday. The Pope quoted actual scripture, Isaiah 1:15: "Even though you make many prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood." Archbishop Reinhard Marx of Munich called Hegseth's sermons "shameless blasphemy."

This is the man in charge of American war.machine.

The Crusader-tattooed former Fox News host who prayed for "overwhelming violence" at his confirmation. Who has fired Army leadership out of paranoia. Who invoked a movie as scripture to justify killing Iranians.

You can’t make this stuff up.
