New Triton T90ER silent shower

The new Triton T90ER shower is about to launch in the next week or so. The Triton T90SR went out of production in January 2026. Once old stock is sold you will start to see the new Triton T90ER silent shower.

From the customers point of view the main difference is a new front cover with bigger dials and a slightly different shower pole.

The main differences are:

More Minimalistic Design
New Dial Design for Additional Grip
New Drip Shield & Wire Retaining Wall
New Silicone Cables & Microswitches
New Core Valve which will help improve flow

Micro switches should last longer. The back casing has been redesigned to stop water and shampoo ingress over the TCO. These two changes alone should reduce the need of repair by about 15%. That's a pretty good improvement on an almost perfect shower.

There is a dual head version available too

Hope it doesen't suffer from the TCO problems that some of the T90SR suffered from, in that the TCOwould not reset after a normal shower and had to be renewed, @sleeper12 had several posts on here about them.

The back casing has been redesigned. It has a type of hood over the TCO to protect it from water ingress. That should make a big difference to the lifespan of the TCO 👍

T90sr is on sale at mo around 280e or 380e duelec - versus 450 / 690 for T90ER. Is it worth the extra for the ER? The SR DuElec for only 90e more - is that worth it or are the bigger heads on a duelec just a gimmick as water/pressure is so low?

They are crazy prices just to buy the shower itself. You can get the T90ER Supplied and fitted for €450 or the Triton T90ER dual supplied and fidded for €600

Thanks for that. Have someone coming to fit shower and other plumbing at weekend and see DublinShowerRepair are delivery rather than collect. Do you reckon the T90ER worth the extra money?

Barretts have it for €310. This suggests that when everyone gets rid of the old T90SR stock that The T90ER might sell for €299 in Woodies

Most of the differance is the front cover, as in looks from the outside. Under the hood it has better protection from water ingress & there is a suggestion that the micro switches are improved. They are the same shower in preformance. One isn't better than the other
